约书亚对他们说：“你们等到什么时候才去占领你们祖先的上帝耶和华赐给你们的土地呢？

约书亚对以色列人说：“耶和华你们列祖的神赐给你们的地，你们迟迟不去占领，要到几时呢？

約書亞對以色列人說：「耶和華－你們列祖的神所賜給你們的地，你們躭延不去得，要到幾時呢？

約書亞對以色列人說：「耶和華－你們列祖的上帝所賜給你們的地，你們躭延不去得，要到幾時呢？

約書亞對以色列人說：「耶和華－你們列祖的神所賜給你們的地，你們躭延不去得，要到幾時呢？

約書亞對他們說：「你們等到什麼時候才去佔領你們祖先的上帝耶和華賜給你們的土地呢？

約書亞對以色列人說：“耶和華你們列祖的神賜給你們的地，你們遲遲不去佔領，要到幾時呢？

約書亞對以色列人說：『永恆主你們列祖的上帝所賜給你們的地、你們懈怠怠不進去取得它、要到幾時呢？

約書亞謂以色列族曰、爾祖之上帝耶和華予爾之地、爾遲遲不往取之、將至何時乎、

約書亞告以色列族曰、爾祖之上帝耶和華錫爾斯土、爾意寢怠、尚未能得、將俟何時乎。

約書亞謂以色列人曰、主爾祖之天主所賜爾之地、爾遲遲不往取之、將至何時、

So Joshua said to the Israelites:“ How long will you wait before you begin to take possession of the land that the Lord, the God of your ancestors, has given you?

So Joshua spoke to the Israelites. He said,“ The Lord, the God of your people, has given you this land. How long will you wait before you begin to take it over?

So Joshua said to the people of Israel,“ How long will you put off going in to take possession of the land, which the Lord, the God of your fathers, has given you?

Then Joshua asked them,“ How long are you going to wait before taking possession of the remaining land the Lord, the God of your ancestors, has given to you?

So Joshua asked the Israelites,“ How long will you delay going out to take possession of the land that the LORD, the God of your ancestors, gave you?

So Joshua said to the sons of Israel,“ How long will you put off entering to take possession of the land which the Lord, the God of your fathers, has given you?

Then Joshua said to the children of Israel:“ How long will you neglect to go and possess the land which the Lord God of your fathers has given you?

And Joshua said unto the children of Israel, How long are ye slack to go in to possess the land, which Jehovah, the God of your fathers, hath given you?

So Joshua said to the Israelites,“ How long will you delay going out to take possession of the land that the Lord, the God of your fathers, gave you?

And Joshua said unto the children of Israel, How long[ are] ye slack to go to possess the land, which the LORD God of your fathers hath given you?

So Joshua said to the Israelites:“ How long do you intend to put off occupying the land the LORD God of your ancestors has given you?

Joshua said to the children of Israel,“ How long will you neglect to go in to possess the land, which Yahweh, the God of your fathers, has given you?

They answered,“ Come on, let’s attack them! We have seen the land, and it is very good. Aren’t you going to do something? Don’t hesitate to go there and take it over. (niv)

Lazy hands make for poverty, but diligent hands bring wealth. (niv)

On that day they will say to Jerusalem,“ Do not fear, Zion; do not let your hands hang limp. (niv)

The way of the sluggard is blocked with thorns, but the path of the upright is a highway. (niv)

A sluggard’s appetite is never filled, but the desires of the diligent are fully satisfied. (niv)

About five in the afternoon he went out and found still others standing around. He asked them,‘ Why have you been standing here all day long doing nothing?’ (niv)

Therefore, my brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble,and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (niv)

Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead,I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. (niv)

turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding—indeed, if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding,and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure,then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. (niv)

Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the realm of the dead, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom. (niv)

Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has placed his seal of approval.” (niv)
