And Saul numbered the people[ that were] present with him, about six hundred men.And Saul, and Jonathan his son, and the people[ that were] present with them, abode in Gibeah of Benjamin: but the Philistines encamped in Michmash.

And Saul also went home to Gibeah; and there went with him a band of men, whose hearts God had touched.

To many thou shalt give the more inheritance, and to few thou shalt give the less inheritance: to every one shall his inheritance be given according to those that were numbered of him.

And the Levite, the husband of the woman that was slain, answered and said, I came into Gibeah that[ belongeth] to Benjamin, I and my concubine, to lodge.And the men of Gibeah rose against me, and beset the house round about upon me by night,[ and] thought to have slain me: and my concubine have they forced, that she is dead.

And the border came down to the end of the mountain that[ lieth] before the valley of the son of Hinnom,[ and] which[ is] in the valley of the giants on the north, and descended to the valley of Hinnom, to the side of Jebusi on the south, and descended to Enrogel,

As for the Jebusites the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the children of Judah could not drive them out: but the Jebusites dwell with the children of Judah at Jerusalem unto this day.

And ye shall divide the land by lot for an inheritance among your families:[ and] to the more ye shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer ye shall give the less inheritance: every man’s[ inheritance] shall be in the place where his lot falleth; according to the tribes of your fathers ye shall inherit.

And David said on that day, Whosoever getteth up to the gutter, and smiteth the Jebusites, and the lame and the blind,[ that are] hated of David’s soul,[ he shall be chief and captain]. Wherefore they said, The blind and the lame shall not come into the house.
