扫罗往基比亚回家去，有神感动的一群人跟随他。

他们过了隘口，在迦巴住宿。拉玛人战兢；扫罗的基比亚人逃跑。

“以色列啊，你从基比亚的日子以来时常犯罪。你们的先人曾站在那里，现今住基比亚的人以为攻击罪孽之辈的战事临不到自己。

主人回答说：“我们不可进不是以色列人住的外邦城，不如过到基比亚去”；又对仆人说：“我们可以到一个地方，或住在基比亚，或住在拉玛。”他们就往前走。将到便雅悯的基比亚，日头已经落了；他们进入基比亚要在那里住宿，就坐在城里的街上，因为无人接他们进家住宿。

人多的，你要把产业多分给他们；人少的，你要把产业少分给他们；要照被数的人数，把产业分给各人。

那利未人，就是被害之妇人的丈夫，回答说：“我和我的妾到了便雅悯的基比亚住宿。基比亚人夜间起来，围了我住的房子，想要杀我，又将我的妾强奸致死。

又下到欣嫩子谷对面山的尽边，就是利乏音谷北边的山；又下到欣嫩谷，贴近耶布斯的南边；又下到隐罗结；

至于住耶路撒冷的耶布斯人，犹大人不能把他们赶出去，耶布斯人却在耶路撒冷与犹大人同住，直到今日。

你们要按家室拈阄，承受那地；人多的，要把产业多分给他们；人少的，要把产业少分给他们。拈出何地给何人，就要归何人。你们要按宗族的支派承受。

当日，大卫说：“谁攻打耶布斯人，当上水沟攻打我心里所恨恶的瘸子、瞎子。”从此有俗语说：“在那里有瞎子、瘸子，他不能进屋去。”
