于是流本人、迦得人和玛拿西半个支派的人，从迦南地的示罗起程，离开以色列人，回到他们所得的产业基列地去，就是照着耶和华藉着摩西所吩咐，赐给他们的产业。

神的殿在示罗有多少日子，但人为自己设立米迦所做的雕像也有多少日子。

耶罗波安对他的妻子说：“你起来改装，使人认不出你是耶罗波安的妻子。到示罗去，有亚希雅先知在那里，他曾对我说，我必作这民的王。

耶罗波安的妻子就这样行了。她动身往示罗去，到了亚希雅的家；亚希雅因为年纪老迈，眼睛昏花，不能看见。

他击退了他的敌人，使他们永远蒙羞受辱。

他们又说：“看哪，每年在示罗都举行耶和华的节期；示罗就是在伯特利的北面，从伯特利上示剑的大路的东面，在利波拿的南面。”

所罗门就罢免了亚比亚他，不准他作耶和华的祭司，这样就应验了耶和华在示罗所说有关以利家的话。
