Manasseh’s share consisted of ten tracts of land besides Gilead and Bashan east of the Jordan,

Manasseh’s share was made up of ten pieces of land. That land was in addition to Gilead and Bashan east of the Jordan River.

Thus there fell to Manasseh ten portions, besides the land of Gilead and Bashan, which is on the other side of the Jordan,

Manasseh was allotted ten shares of land, in addition to the land of Gilead and Bashan east of the Jordan,

The children of Joseph spoke to Joshua, saying,“ Why have you given me just one lot and one part for an inheritance, since we are a numerous people, because Yahweh has blessed us so far?”

Moses gave an inheritance to the half- tribe of Manasseh. It was for the half- tribe of the children of Manasseh according to their families.Their border was from Mahanaim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, and all the villages of Jair, which are in Bashan, sixty cities.Half Gilead, Ashtaroth, and Edrei, the cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, were for the children of Machir the son of Manasseh, even for the half of the children of Machir according to their families.

So this was for the rest of the children of Manasseh according to their families: for the children of Abiezer, for the children of Helek, for the children of Asriel, for the children of Shechem, for the children of Hepher, and for the children of Shemida. These were the male children of Manasseh the son of Joseph according to their families.But Zelophehad, the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, had no sons, but daughters. These are the names of his daughters: Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.

but if they will not pass over with you armed, they shall have possessions among you in the land of Canaan.”The children of Gad and the children of Reuben answered, saying,“ As Yahweh has said to your servants, so will we do.We will pass over armed before Yahweh into the land of Canaan, and the possession of our inheritance shall remain with us beyond the Jordan.”Moses gave to them, even to the children of Gad, and to the children of Reuben, and to the half- tribe of Manasseh the son of Joseph, the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, and the kingdom of Og king of Bashan; the land, according to its cities and borders, even the cities of the surrounding land.The children of Gad built Dibon, Ataroth, Aroer,Atroth- shophan, Jazer, Jogbehah,Beth Nimrah, and Beth Haran: fortified cities and folds for sheep.The children of Reuben built Heshbon, Elealeh, Kiriathaim,Nebo, and Baal Meon,( their names being changed), and Sibmah. They gave other names to the cities which they built.The children of Machir the son of Manasseh went to Gilead, took it, and dispossessed the Amorites who were therein.Moses gave Gilead to Machir the son of Manasseh; and he lived therein.Jair the son of Manasseh went and took its villages, and called them Havvoth Jair.Nobah went and took Kenath and its villages, and called it Nobah, after his own name.
