Manasseh’s share consisted of ten tracts of land besides Gilead and Bashan east of the Jordan,

約瑟的子孫對約書亞說：「耶和華到如今既然賜福與我們，我們也族大人多，你為甚麼僅將一鬮一段之地分給我們為業呢？」

摩西把產業分給瑪拿西半支派，是按着瑪拿西半支派的宗族所分的。他們的境界是從瑪哈念起，包括巴珊全地，就是巴珊王噩的全國，並在巴珊、睚珥的一切城邑，共六十個。基列的一半，並亞斯他錄、以得來，就是屬巴珊王噩國的二城，是按着宗族給瑪拿西的兒子瑪吉的一半子孫。

瑪拿西其餘的子孫，按着宗族拈鬮分地，就是亞比以謝子孫，希勒子孫，亞斯列子孫，示劍子孫，希弗子孫，示米大子孫；這些按着宗族，都是約瑟兒子瑪拿西子孫的男丁。瑪拿西的玄孫，瑪吉的曾孫，基列的孫子，希弗的兒子西羅非哈沒有兒子，只有女兒。他的女兒名叫瑪拉、挪阿、曷拉、密迦、得撒；

倘若他們不帶兵器和你們一同過去，就要在迦南地你們中間得產業。」迦得子孫和呂便子孫回答說：「耶和華怎樣吩咐僕人，僕人就怎樣行。我們要帶兵器，在耶和華面前過去，進入迦南地，只是約旦河這邊、我們所得為業之地仍歸我們。」摩西將亞摩利王西宏的國和巴珊王噩的國，連那地和周圍的城邑，都給了迦得子孫和呂便子孫，並約瑟的兒子瑪拿西半個支派。迦得子孫建造底本、亞他錄、亞羅珥、亞他錄‧朔反、雅謝、約比哈、伯‧寧拉、伯‧哈蘭，都是堅固城。他們又壘羊圈。呂便子孫建造希實本、以利亞利、基列亭、尼波、巴力‧免、西比瑪（尼波、巴力‧免，名字是改了的），又給他們所建造的城另起別名。瑪拿西的兒子瑪吉，他的子孫往基列去，佔了那地，趕出那裏的亞摩利人。摩西將基列賜給瑪拿西的兒子瑪吉，他子孫就住在那裏。瑪拿西的子孫睚珥去佔了基列的村莊，就稱這些村莊為哈倭特‧睚珥。挪巴去佔了基納和基納的鄉村，就按自己的名稱基納為挪巴。
