but the forested hill country as well. Clear it, and its farthest limits will be yours; though the Canaanites have chariots fitted with iron and though they are strong, you can drive them out.”

You will also have the central hill country. It’s covered with trees. Cut them down and clear the land. That whole land from one end to the other will belong to you. The Canaanites use chariots that have iron parts. And those people are strong. But you can drive them out.”

but the hill country shall be yours, for though it is a forest, you shall clear it and possess it to its farthest borders. For you shall drive out the Canaanites, though they have chariots of iron, and though they are strong.”

The forests of the hill country will be yours as well. Clear as much of the land as you wish, and take possession of its farthest corners. And you will drive out the Canaanites from the valleys, too, even though they are strong and have iron chariots.”

那么，对这些事我们要怎么说呢？神如果支持我们，谁还能反对我们呢？

所以，我们可以满怀勇气地说：“主是我的帮助，我就不惧怕，人能把我怎么样呢？”

然而，靠着爱我们的那一位，我们在这一切事上已经得胜有余了。

耶和华是我的光，是我的救恩，我还怕谁呢？耶和华是我一生的保障，我还惧怕谁呢？那些作恶者，就是我的敌人、我的仇敌，他们逼近我、要吞噬我肉体的时候，就绊跌、仆倒。

你不要害怕，因为我与你同在；不要惊惶，因为我是你的神。我必坚固你，必定帮助你，必定用我公义的右手扶持你。看哪！对你发怒的，都必蒙羞受辱；与你相争的，都如同无有，必要灭亡。与你争斗的，你寻找他们，却找不到；与你交战的，都如同无有，如同虚无。因为我耶和华你的神，紧拉着你的右手，对你说：“不要害怕，我必帮助你！”幼虫雅各啊，以色列人哪，不要害怕，我必帮助你！你的救赎主是以色列的圣者！这是耶和华的宣告。看哪！我要使你成为一个崭新、锐利、多齿的打谷器；你必脱打、磨碎群山，又使冈陵如同糠秕。你必簸扬它们，风就把它们吹去，狂风使它们四散；但你必因耶和华而快乐，因以色列的圣者而夸耀。

“我，是我安慰你们；你是谁，竟怕那必死的人，就是那被弃如草芥的世人；竟忘记了那造你的耶和华，就是展开诸天、奠定大地根基的那一位；竟终日不断地惧怕，就是惧怕压迫者预备行毁灭时的怒火！其实那压迫者的怒火在哪里呢？
