其界自巴拉轉西、向西珥山、至耶琳山之北、耶琳山即基撒倫、下至伯示麥、由此至亭拿、

这地界又从巴拉往西绕到西珥山，经过耶琳山斜坡的北边，耶琳就是基撒仑，从那里又下到伯‧示麦，经过亭拿，

Then it curved westward from Baalah to Mount Seir, ran along the northern slope of Mount Jearim( that is, Kesalon), continued down to Beth Shemesh and crossed to Timnah.

Then it curved west from Kiriath Jearim to Mount Seir. It ran along the north slope of Mount Kesalon. It continued down to Beth Shemesh and crossed over to Timnah.

And the boundary circles west of Baalah to Mount Seir, passes along to the northern shoulder of Mount Jearim( that is, Chesalon), and goes down to Beth-shemesh and passes along by Timnah.

牛由一道直往伯示麥、且行且鳴、不偏於左、不偏於右、非利士人之諸伯隨於後、直至伯示麥界、伯示麥人適在谷中在谷中或作在平原刈麥、舉目而觀、見匱則喜、車至伯示麥人約書亞田而止、在彼有巨石、人析其車為柴、以二牛獻於主為火焚祭、利未人取主之匱與藏金物物原文作器之匣、自車而下、置於巨石、當日伯示麥人獻火焚祭及平安祭於主、非利士人之五伯見之、遂於是日歸以革倫、非利士人獻金痔於主、為贖愆之祭者、其數如左、一為亞實突、一為迦薩、一為亞實基倫、一為迦特、一為以革倫、金鼠循非利士人諸邑之數、即屬其五伯者、自保障之邑以及鄉里、直至亞比勒巨石、此石即置主匱之石、在伯示麥人約書亞田間、至今尚存、伯示麥人窺主之匱、主擊其民五萬有七十人、或作主擊其民七十人有五萬人在彼因主大戮於民中、民則哀哭、伯示麥人曰、主天主至聖、誰能立於其前、匱離我儕當往誰之所乎、遂遣人往告基列耶琳居民曰、非利士人已攜主之匱至此、爾曹盍下、攜之以上爾所、
