其界自巴拉轉西、向西珥山、至耶琳山之北、耶琳山即基撒倫、下至伯示麥、由此至亭拿、

Then it curved westward from Baalah to Mount Seir, ran along the northern slope of Mount Jearim( that is, Kesalon), continued down to Beth Shemesh and crossed to Timnah.

Then it curved west from Kiriath Jearim to Mount Seir. It ran along the north slope of Mount Kesalon. It continued down to Beth Shemesh and crossed over to Timnah.

And the boundary circles west of Baalah to Mount Seir, passes along to the northern shoulder of Mount Jearim( that is, Chesalon), and goes down to Beth-shemesh and passes along by Timnah.

and the border turned about from Baalah westward unto mount Seir, and passed along unto the side of mount Jearim on the north( the same is Chesalon), and went down to Beth- shemesh, and passed along by Timnah;

许多日子之后，犹大的妻子，书亚的女儿死了。犹大从哀悼中出来，就和他的朋友亚杜兰人希拉上亭拿去，到他的剪羊毛人那里。有人告诉塔玛尔说：“看哪，你的公公要上亭拿去剪羊毛。”

母牛在通往伯示麦的路上直行，走在大道上，边走边叫，不偏离左右。非利士的首领们跟在它们后面，直到伯示麦的边界。伯示麦人正在平原收割小麦，他们举目看见约柜，就欢喜观望。牛车来到伯示麦人约书亚的田间，就在那里停住，那里有一块大石头。伯示麦人劈开牛车的木料，然后把母牛作为燔祭献给耶和华。利未人把耶和华的约柜，以及它旁边装着金器的盒子卸下来，放在那块大石头上。伯示麦人当天向耶和华献上燔祭，又献上其他祭物。非利士的五个首领看到这些，当天就返回了以革伦。非利士人带给耶和华作赔罪礼物的这些金肿物，一个是为阿实突，一个是为加沙，一个是为阿实基伦，一个是为迦特，一个是为以革伦。金老鼠是按着五个首领所管辖的非利士城市的总数，城市包括坚固城和无城墙的乡镇。至于那块放置耶和华约柜的大石头，直到今天还在伯示麦人约书亚的田地里。耶和华击杀伯示麦人，因为他们擅自看了耶和华的约柜里面；他击杀了民众五万零七十个人。耶和华大大击杀民众，民众就悲恸。伯示麦人说：“谁能在这位圣洁的神耶和华面前站立得住呢？应该请他离开我们上谁那里去呢？”于是他们派遣使者到基列-耶琳的居民那里，说：“非利士人把耶和华的约柜送回来了。你们下来，把它带到你们那里去吧。”
