The people of Judah approached Joshua at Gilgal. Caleb, the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite, spoke to Joshua. He said,“ You know what the Lord said to Moses, the man of God. He spoke to him at Kadesh Barnea about you and me.

Then the people of Judah came to Joshua at Gilgal. And Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite said to him,“ You know what the Lord said to Moses the man of God in Kadesh-barnea concerning you and me.

A delegation from the tribe of Judah, led by Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite, came to Joshua at Gilgal. Caleb said to Joshua,“ Remember what the Lord said to Moses, the man of God, about you and me when we were at Kadesh barnea.

The descendants of Judah approached Joshua at Gilgal, and Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite said to him,“ You know what the LORD promised Moses the man of God at Kadesh-barnea about you and me.

Then the sons of Judah approached Joshua in Gilgal, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite said to him,“ You know the word which the Lord spoke to Moses the man of God on account of you and me in Kadesh barnea.

Then the children of Judah came to Joshua in Gilgal. And Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite said to him:“ You know the word which the Lord said to Moses the man of God concerning you and me in Kadesh Barnea.

Then the children of Judah drew nigh unto Joshua in Gilgal: and Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite said unto him, Thou knowest the thing that Jehovah spake unto Moses the man of God concerning me and concerning thee in Kadesh- barnea.

The descendants of Judah approached Joshua at Gilgal, and Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite said to him,“ You know what the Lord promised Moses the man of God at Kadesh-barnea about you and me.

Then the children of Judah came unto Joshua in Gilgal: and Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite said unto him, Thou knowest the thing that the LORD said unto Moses the man of God concerning me and thee in Kadeshbarnea.

Then the children of Judah came near to Joshua in Gilgal. Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite said to him,“ You know the thing that Yahweh spoke to Moses the man of God concerning me and concerning you in Kadesh Barnea.

Only my servant Caleb, because he had a different spirit and has followed me fully– I will bring him into the land where he had gone, and his descendants will possess it.

You will by no means enter into the land where I swore to settle you. The only exceptions are Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun.

So Hebron remains the assigned land of Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite to this very day because he remained loyal to the LORD God of Israel.

They came back to Moses and Aaron and to the whole community of the Israelites in the wilderness of Paran at Kadesh. They reported to the whole community and showed the fruit of the land.

And Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh, two of those who had investigated the land, tore their garments.

When Othniel son of Kenaz, Caleb’s brother, captured it, Caleb gave Acsah his daughter to him as a wife.

Elisha traveled to Damascus while King Ben Hadad of Syria was sick. The king was told,“ The prophet has come here.”

The exception is Caleb son of Jephunneh; he will see it and I will give him and his descendants the territory on which he has walked, because he has wholeheartedly followed me.”As for me, the LORD was also angry with me on your account. He said,“ You also will not be able to go there.However, Joshua son of Nun, your assistant, will go. Encourage him, because he will enable Israel to inherit the land.

Then Joshua and all Israel returned to the camp at Gilgal.

O Lord, you have been our protector through all generations!

that the person dedicated to God may be capable and equipped for every good work.

No prophet ever again arose in Israel like Moses, who knew the LORD face to face.

My servant Moses is not like this; he is faithful in all my house.With him I will speak face to face, openly, and not in riddles; and he will see the form of the LORD. Why then were you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?”

Just then a prophet from Judah, sent by the LORD, arrived in Bethel, as Jeroboam was standing near the altar ready to offer a sacrifice.

So Moses, the servant of the LORD, died there in the land of Moab as the LORD had said.

and took off after the prophet, whom he found sitting under an oak tree. He asked him,“ Are you the prophet from Judah?” He answered,“ Yes, I am.”

But you, as a person dedicated to God, keep away from all that. Instead pursue righteousness, godliness, faithfulness, love, endurance, and gentleness.

Now a man from Baal Shalisha brought some food for the prophet– twenty loaves of bread made from the firstfruits of the barley harvest, as well as fresh ears of grain. Elisha said,“ Set it before the people so they may eat.”

Elisha just stared at him until Hazael became uncomfortable. Then the prophet started crying.

The people went up from the Jordan on the tenth day of the first month and camped in Gilgal on the eastern border of Jericho.

This is the blessing Moses the man of God pronounced upon the Israelites before his death.

The woman went and said to her husband,“ A man sent from God came to me! He looked like God’s angelic messenger– he was very awesome. I did not ask him where he came from, and he did not tell me his name.He said to me,‘ Look, you will conceive and have a son. So now, do not drink wine or beer and do not eat any food that will make you ritually unclean. For the child will be dedicated to God from birth till the day he dies.’”Manoah prayed to the LORD,“ Please, Lord, allow the man sent from God to visit us again, so he can teach us how we should raise the child who will be born.”

She said to her husband,“ Look, I’m sure that the man who regularly passes through here is a very special prophet.

He said,“ About this time next year you will be holding a son.” She said,“ No, my master! O prophet, do not lie to your servant!”
