A delegation from the tribe of Judah, led by Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite, came to Joshua at Gilgal. Caleb said to Joshua,“ Remember what the Lord said to Moses, the man of God, about you and me when we were at Kadesh barnea.

Then the sons of Judah approached Joshua in Gilgal, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite said to him,“ You know the word which the Lord spoke to Moses the man of God on account of you and me in Kadesh barnea.

Then the children of Judah came to Joshua in Gilgal. And Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite said to him:“ You know the word which the Lord said to Moses the man of God concerning you and me in Kadesh Barnea.

Then the children of Judah drew nigh unto Joshua in Gilgal: and Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite said unto him, Thou knowest the thing that Jehovah spake unto Moses the man of God concerning me and concerning thee in Kadesh- barnea.

Then the children of Judah came unto Joshua in Gilgal: and Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite said unto him, Thou knowest the thing that the LORD said unto Moses the man of God concerning me and thee in Kadeshbarnea.

The men of Judah approached Joshua in Gilgal, and Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite said to him,“ You know what the LORD said about you and me to Moses, the man of God, at Kadesh Barnea.

Then the children of Judah came near to Joshua in Gilgal. Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite said to him,“ You know the thing that Yahweh spoke to Moses the man of God concerning me and concerning you in Kadesh Barnea.

But since my servant Caleb has a different spirit and has remained loyal to me, I will bring him into the land where he has gone, and his descendants will inherit it.

I swear that none of you will enter the land I promised to settle you in, except Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun.

Caleb son of Jephunneh from the tribe of Judah;

Therefore, Hebron still belongs to Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite as an inheritance today because he followed the LORD, the God of Israel, completely.

none except Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite and Joshua son of Nun, because they did remain loyal to the LORD.’

The men went back to Moses, Aaron, and the entire Israelite community in the Wilderness of Paran at Kadesh. They brought back a report for them and the whole community, and they showed them the fruit of the land.

Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh, who were among those who scouted out the land, tore their clothes

So Othniel son of Caleb’s brother, Kenaz, captured it, and Caleb gave his daughter Achsah to him as a wife.

Elisha came to Damascus while King Ben-hadad of Aram was sick, and the king was told,“ The man of God has come here.”

except Caleb the son of Jephunneh. He will see it, and I will give him and his descendants the land on which he has set foot, because he remained loyal to the LORD.’“ The LORD was angry with me also because of you and said,‘ You will not enter there either.Joshua son of Nun, who attends you, will enter it. Encourage him, for he will enable Israel to inherit it.

Then Joshua returned with all Israel to the camp at Gilgal.

Lord, you have been our refuge in every generation.

so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

No prophet has arisen again in Israel like Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face.

Not so with my servant Moses; he is faithful in all my household.I speak with him directly, openly, and not in riddles; he sees the form of the LORD. So why were you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?”

A man of God came, however, from Judah to Bethel by the word of the LORD while Jeroboam was standing beside the altar to burn incense.

So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the LORD’s word.

He followed the man of God and found him sitting under an oak tree. He asked him,“ Are you the man of God who came from Judah?”“ I am,” he said.

But you, man of God, flee from these things, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, and gentleness.

A man from Baal-shalishah came to the man of God with his sack full of twenty loaves of barley bread from the first bread of the harvest. Elisha said,“ Give it to the people to eat.”

Then he stared steadily at him until he was ashamed. The man of God wept,

The people came up from the Jordan on the tenth day of the first month, and camped at Gilgal on the eastern limits of Jericho.

This is the blessing that Moses, the man of God, gave the Israelites before his death.

Then the woman went and told her husband,“ A man of God came to me. He looked like the awe-inspiring angel of God. I didn’t ask him where he came from, and he didn’t tell me his name.He said to me,‘ You will conceive and give birth to a son. Therefore, do not drink wine or beer, and do not eat anything unclean, because the boy will be a Nazirite to God from birth until the day of his death.’”Manoah prayed to the LORD and said,“ Please, Lord, let the man of God you sent come again to us and teach us what we should do for the boy who will be born.”

Then she said to her husband,“ I know that the one who often passes by here is a holy man of God,

Elisha said,“ At this time next year you will have a son in your arms.” Then she said,“ No, my lord. Man of God, do not lie to your servant.”
