摩西对他们说：“迦得子孙和吕便子孙，凡带兵器在耶和华面前去打仗的，若与你们一同渡过约旦河，那地被你们征服以后，你们就要把基列地给他们为业。倘若他们不带兵器与你们一同渡过去，他们就要在迦南地你们中间得产业。”迦得子孙和吕便子孙回答说：“耶和华怎样吩咐仆人，我们就必照样做。我们自己必带着兵器，在耶和华面前渡过去，进入迦南地，好使我们在约旦河这边得到我们的产业。”摩西把亚摩利王西宏的国和巴珊王噩的国，就是他们的国土和周围的城镇，都给了迦得子孙和吕便子孙，以及约瑟的儿子玛拿西半个支派。迦得子孙建造了底本、亚他录、亚罗珥、亚他录‧朔反、雅谢、约比哈、伯‧宁拉、伯‧哈兰，都是坚固城，并筑有羊圈。吕便子孙建造了希实本、以利亚利、基列亭、尼波、巴力‧免（名字是改了的）、西比玛；他们给建造的城另起别名。玛拿西的儿子玛吉的子孙往基列去，占了那地，赶出那里的亚摩利人。摩西把基列赐给玛拿西的儿子玛吉，他就住在那里。玛拿西的子孙睚珥占了基列的城镇，就称这些城镇为哈倭特‧睚珥。挪巴占了基纳和基纳的乡镇，就照自己的名字称基纳为挪巴。

“那时，我们得了这地。从亚嫩谷旁的亚罗珥起，连同基列山区的一半和境内的城镇，我都给了吕便人和迦得人。基列其余的地和巴珊全地，就是噩的国度，我给了玛拿西半支派。亚珥歌伯全境就是巴珊全地，也称为利乏音人之地。玛拿西的子孙睚珥占领了亚珥歌伯全境，直到基述人和玛迦人的边界，就按自己的名字称这些地，就是巴珊，为哈倭特‧睚珥，直到今日。我又将基列给了玛吉。我给了吕便人和迦得人从基列到亚嫩谷，以谷的中央为界，直到亚扪人边界的雅博河；还有亚拉巴和靠近约旦河之地，从基尼烈直到亚拉巴海，就是盐海，以及毗斯迦山斜坡的山脚东边之地。

以上是摩西在约旦河东，耶利哥对面的摩押平原所分配的产业。只是利未支派，摩西没有把产业分给他们。耶和华—以色列的神是他们的产业，正如耶和华对他们说的。
