“如果迦得和吕便子孙中所有能上阵打仗的人，在耶和华面前跟你们一同过河作战，你们征服那片土地以后就要把基列给他们作产业。如果他们不带着兵器跟你们一起过河作战，就只能在迦南与你们同分产业。”迦得和吕便的子孙再次说：“凡耶和华所吩咐的，仆人们一定照办。我们一定带着兵器在耶和华面前过河，前往迦南，但我们要拥有约旦河东之地作产业。”摩西就把亚摩利王西宏和巴珊王噩的国土及周围的城邑都给了迦得的子孙、吕便的子孙和约瑟儿子玛拿西的半个支派。迦得的子孙重建了底本、亚他录、亚罗珥、亚他录·朔反、雅谢、约比哈、伯·宁拉和伯·哈兰，使之成为坚固的城池，并建了羊圈。吕便的子孙重建了希实本、以利亚利、基列亭、尼波、巴力·免和西比玛。他们为重建的城邑起了新名字，如尼波和巴力·免。玛拿西之子玛吉的子孙占领了基列，赶走了那里的亚摩利人。摩西就把基列赐给玛拿西的儿子玛吉，作他的居所。玛拿西的子孙雅珥占领了基列的村庄，将它们改名为哈倭特·雅珥。挪巴占领了基纳及其周围的村庄，就按自己的名字称基纳为挪巴。

“我们占领了这片土地后，我把亚嫩谷边的亚罗珥以北地区和基列山区的一半及其城邑，分给吕便支派和迦得支派，把基列山区的另一半，以及噩的王国巴珊全境——整个亚珥歌伯分给玛拿西半个支派。巴珊地区又被称为利乏音人之地。玛拿西的子孙雅珥得到亚珥歌伯全境，远至基述人和玛迦人的边界。他按自己的名字给那地方取名叫哈倭特·雅珥，沿用至今。我又把基列分给玛吉，把从基列到亚嫩谷，以谷中央为界，远至亚扪人的边界雅博河地区分给吕便支派和迦得支派。我还把亚拉巴，就是以约旦河为界，从基尼烈直到东面毗斯迦山脚的亚拉巴海，即盐海地区给了他们。

以上是摩西在耶利哥对面约旦河东的摩押平原分给以色列人的产业。摩西并没有分给利未支派任何产业，因为以色列的上帝耶和华就是他们的产业，正如耶和华对他们的应许。
