Then Joshua blessed Caleb son of Jephunneh and gave him Hebron as his inheritance.

So Joshua blessed them, and sent them away; and they went to their tents.

to them they gave Hebron in the land of Judah, and its pasture lands around it;but the fields of the city, and its villages, they gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh.

They gave them Kiriath Arba, named after the father of Anak( also called Hebron), in the hill country of Judah, with its pasture lands around it.But they gave the fields of the city and its villages to Caleb the son of Jephunneh for his possession.

Joshua went up from Eglon, and all Israel with him, to Hebron; and they fought against it.They took it, and struck it with the edge of the sword, with its king and all its cities, and all the souls who were in it. He left no one remaining, according to all that he had done to Eglon; but he utterly destroyed it, and all the souls who were in it.

He gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh a portion among the children of Judah, according to the commandment of Yahweh to Joshua, even Kiriath Arba, named after the father of Anak( also called Hebron).

Then Eli answered,“ Go in peace; and may the God of Israel grant your petition that you have asked of him.”

Jacob blessed Pharaoh, and went out from the presence of Pharaoh.

Joseph brought in Jacob, his father, and set him before Pharaoh; and Jacob blessed Pharaoh.

My dove, my perfect one, is unique. She is her mother’s only daughter. She is the favorite one of her who bore her. The daughters saw her, and called her blessed. The queens and the concubines saw her, and they praised her.
