Then Joshua blessed Caleb son of Jephunneh and gave him Hebron as his inheritance.

So Joshua blessed them and sent them away, and they went to their tents.

They gave them Hebron in the land of Judah, with its surrounding common-lands.But the fields of the city and its villages they gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh.

And they gave them Kirjath Arba( Arba was the father of Anak), which is Hebron, in the mountains of Judah, with the common-land surrounding it.But the fields of the city and its villages they gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh as his possession.

So Joshua went up from Eglon, and all Israel with him, to Hebron; and they fought against it.And they took it and struck it with the edge of the sword— its king, all its cities, and all the people who were in it; he left none remaining, according to all that he had done to Eglon, but utterly destroyed it and all the people who were in it.

Now to Caleb the son of Jephunneh he gave a share among the children of Judah, according to the commandment of the Lord to Joshua, namely, Kirjath Arba, which is Hebron( Arba was the father of Anak).

Then Eli answered and said,“ Go in peace, and the God of Israel grant your petition which you have asked of Him.”

So Jacob blessed Pharaoh, and went out from before Pharaoh.

Then Joseph brought in his father Jacob and set him before Pharaoh; and Jacob blessed Pharaoh.
