The territory from Aroer on the rim of the Arnon Gorge, and from the town in the middle of the gorge, and the whole plateau past Medeba

Their territory starts at Aroer on the rim of the Arnon River valley. It includes the town in the middle of the valley. It includes all of the high plains near Medeba.

So their territory was from Aroer, which is on the edge of the Valley of the Arnon, and the city that is in the middle of the valley, and all the tableland by Medeba;

希實本人和以利亞利人都哭喊，聲音一直傳到雅雜，因此摩押的戰士大聲喊叫，膽戰心驚。

以下是關於摩押的預言：摩押的亞珥城必在一夜之間被摧毀，淪為廢墟；摩押的基珥城必在一夜之間被摧毀，淪為廢墟。底本城的人上到神廟，到他們的邱壇痛哭。摩押人都剃光頭髮，刮掉鬍鬚，為尼波和米底巴城哀號。

摩西就把亞摩利王西宏和巴珊王噩的國土及周圍的城邑都給了迦得的子孫、呂便的子孫和約瑟兒子瑪拿西的半個支派。迦得的子孫重建了底本、亞他錄、亞羅珥、亞他錄·朔反、雅謝、約比哈、伯·寧拉和伯·哈蘭，使之成為堅固的城池，並建了羊圈。呂便的子孫重建了希實本、以利亞利、基列亭、尼波、巴力·免和西比瑪。他們為重建的城邑起了新名字，如尼波和巴力·免。
