But to the tribe of Levi he gave no inheritance, since the food offerings presented to the Lord, the God of Israel, are their inheritance, as he promised them.

Moses hadn’t given any share of the land to the tribe of Levi. That’s because the food offerings are their share. Those offerings are presented to the Lord, the God of Israel. Moses gave the Levites what he had promised them.

To the tribe of Levi alone Moses gave no inheritance. The offerings by fire to the Lord God of Israel are their inheritance, as he said to him.

Moses did not assign any allotment of land to the tribe of Levi. Instead, as the Lord had promised them, their allotment came from the offerings burned on the altar to the Lord, the God of Israel.

He did not, however, give any inheritance to the tribe of Levi. This was their inheritance, just as he had promised: the food offerings made to the LORD, the God of Israel.

Only to the tribe of Levi he did not give an inheritance; the offerings by fire to the Lord, the God of Israel, are their inheritance, as He spoke to him.

Only to the tribe of Levi he had given no inheritance; the sacrifices of the Lord God of Israel made by fire are their inheritance, as He said to them.

耶和華對亞倫說：「你在以色列人的境內不可有產業，在他們中間也不可有份。在以色列人中，我是你的份，你的產業。「至於利未的子孫，看哪，我已賜給他們以色列所有出產的十分之一為業，作為他們在會幕中事奉的酬勞。以色列人不可再挨近會幕，免得他們擔當罪而死。惟獨利未人要在會幕中事奉，他們要擔當罪孽，作為你們世世代代永遠的定例。他們在以色列人中不可有產業；因為以色列人出產的十分之一，就是獻給耶和華為舉祭的，我已賜給利未人為業。所以我對他們說，他們不可在以色列人中有產業。」

摩西在約旦河東已經分了產業給另外兩個半支派。但是，他在他們中間沒有分產業給利未人。因約瑟的子孫成了兩個支派，就是瑪拿西和以法蓮。雖然他們沒有分地給利未人，卻給利未人城鎮居住，以及城鎮的郊外供他們牧養牲畜，安置財物。

你們和兒女、僕婢，以及住在你們城裏，沒有與你們一起分得產業的利未人，都要在耶和華－你們的神面前歡樂。

「利未家的祭司和利未全支派在以色列中沒有分得產業；他們可以吃耶和華的火祭，那是他的產業。他在弟兄中沒有產業；耶和華是他的產業，正如耶和華所應許他的。

你要謹慎，在你所住的地上，你永不可離棄利未人。
