But to the tribe of Levi he gave no inheritance, since the food offerings presented to the Lord, the God of Israel, are their inheritance, as he promised them.

Moses hadn’t given any share of the land to the tribe of Levi. That’s because the food offerings are their share. Those offerings are presented to the Lord, the God of Israel. Moses gave the Levites what he had promised them.

To the tribe of Levi alone Moses gave no inheritance. The offerings by fire to the Lord God of Israel are their inheritance, as he said to him.

Moses did not assign any allotment of land to the tribe of Levi. Instead, as the Lord had promised them, their allotment came from the offerings burned on the altar to the Lord, the God of Israel.

He did not, however, give any inheritance to the tribe of Levi. This was their inheritance, just as he had promised: the food offerings made to the LORD, the God of Israel.

Only to the tribe of Levi he did not give an inheritance; the offerings by fire to the Lord, the God of Israel, are their inheritance, as He spoke to him.

耶和华对亚伦说：“你在以色列人的地不可有产业，在他们中间也不可有分；在以色列人中间，我就是你的分，是你的产业。“至于利未的子孙，我已经把以色列中所有的十分之一，赐给了他们作产业，这是为酬报他们在会幕里办理的事务。从今以后，以色列人不可走近会幕，免得他们负罪而死。唯独利未人要办理会幕的事，要担当他们的罪孽，这要作你们世世代代永远的条例；在以色列人中，他们不可有产业。因为以色列人献给耶和华为举祭的十分之一，我已经赐给了利未人作产业；所以我对他们说：在以色列人中，他们不可有产业。”

因为摩西在约旦河东已经把产业分给了那两个半支派；却没有把产业分给他们中间的利未人。因为约瑟的子孙成了两个支派，就是玛拿西和以法莲，因此以色列人没有把地业分给在那地的利未人，只给他们一些城市居住，还有城市的郊野，可以牧放他们的牲畜，安置他们的财产。

你们和你们的儿女、仆婢，以及住在你们城里的利未人，都要在耶和华你们的神面前欢乐，因为利未人在你们中间无分无业。

“利未支派的祭司和利未整个支派，在以色列中，必无分无业；他们所吃的，是献给耶和华的火祭和他们应得的一份（“他们应得的一份”直译是“它的份”，即利未支派的份）。利未人在兄弟中必没有产业，耶和华就是他们的产业，正如耶和华应许他们的。

所以利未人在兄弟中无分无业；照着耶和华你的神应许他的，耶和华自己就是他的产业。

你要自己谨慎，你在你那地上的日子，永不可丢弃利未人。
