Moses, the servant of the Lord, and the Israelites conquered them. And Moses the servant of the Lord gave their land to the Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh to be their possession.

Moses was the servant of the Lord. Moses and the Israelites won the battle over those two kings. He gave their land to the tribes of Reuben and Gad and half of the tribe of Manasseh. He gave it to them as their share.

Moses, the servant of the Lord, and the people of Israel defeated them. And Moses the servant of the Lord gave their land for a possession to the Reubenites and the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh.

Moses, the servant of the Lord, and the Israelites had destroyed the people of King Sihon and King Og. And Moses gave their land as a possession to the tribes of Reuben, Gad, and the half tribe of Manasseh.

Them did Moses the servant of the LORD and the children of Israel smite: and Moses the servant of the LORD gave it[ for] a possession unto the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh.

So Moses gave to them, to the sons of Gad, the sons of Reuben, and to the half tribe of Joseph’s son Manasseh, the kingdom of Sihon, king of the Amorites and the kingdom of Og, the king of Bashan, the land with its cities with their territories, the cities of the surrounding land.

With the other half tribe, the Reubenites and the Gadites received their inheritance which Moses gave them beyond the Jordan to the east, just as Moses the servant of the Lord gave to them;from Aroer, which is on the edge of the Valley of the Arnon, with the city which is in the middle of the valley, and all the plain of Medeba, as far as Dibon;and all the cities of Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, as far as the border of the sons of Ammon;and Gilead, and the territory of the Geshurites and Maacathites, and all Mount Hermon, and all Bashan as far as Salecah;all the kingdom of Og in Bashan, who reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei( he alone was left of the remnant of the Rephaim); for Moses struck them and drove them out.But the sons of Israel did not drive out the Geshurites or the Maacathites; instead, Geshur and Maacath live among Israel to this day.Only to the tribe of Levi he did not give an inheritance; the offerings by fire to the Lord, the God of Israel, are their inheritance, as He spoke to him.So Moses gave an inheritance to the tribe of the sons of Reuben according to their families.Their territory was from Aroer, which is on the edge of the Valley of the Arnon, with the city which is in the middle of the valley and all the plain by Medeba;Heshbon and all its cities which are on the plain: Dibon, Bamoth baal, Beth baal meon,Jahaz, Kedemoth, Mephaath,Kiriathaim, Sibmah, Zereth shahar on the hill of the valley,Beth peor, the slopes of Pisgah, Beth jeshimoth,even all the cities of the plain, and all the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, whom Moses struck with the leaders of Midian, Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur, and Reba, the leaders of Sihon, who lived in the land.The sons of Israel also killed Balaam the son of Beor, the diviner, with the sword among the rest of their dead.The border of the sons of Reuben was the Jordan. This was the inheritance of the sons of Reuben according to their families, the cities and their villages.Moses also gave an inheritance to the tribe of Gad, to the sons of Gad according to their families.Their territory was Jazer and all the cities of Gilead, and half the land of the sons of Ammon, as far as Aroer which is opposite Rabbah;and from Heshbon as far as Ramath mizpeh and Betonim, and from Mahanaim as far as the border of Debir;and in the valley, Beth haram, Beth nimrah, Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, with the Jordan as a border, as far as the lower end of the Sea of Chinnereth beyond the Jordan to the east.This is the inheritance of the sons of Gad according to their families, the cities and their villages.Moses also gave an inheritance to the half tribe of Manasseh; and it was for the half tribe of the sons of Manasseh according to their families.Their territory was from Mahanaim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, and all the towns of Jair, which are in Bashan, sixty cities;also half of Gilead, with Ashtaroth and Edrei, the cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, were for the sons of Machir the son of Manasseh, for half of the sons of Machir according to their families.These are the territories which Moses apportioned as an inheritance in the plains of Moab, beyond the Jordan at Jericho to the east.

( For only Og king of Bashan was left of the remnant of the Rephaim. Behold, his bed was a bed of iron; it is in Rabbah of the sons of Ammon. Its length was nine cubits, and its width four cubits by the usual cubit.)“ So we took possession of this land at that time. From Aroer, which is by the Valley of Arnon, and half the hill country of Gilead and its cities I gave to the Reubenites and to the Gadites.The rest of Gilead and all Bashan, the kingdom of Og, I gave to the half tribe of Manasseh, all the region of Argob.( As to all Bashan, it is called the land of Rephaim.Jair the son of Manasseh took all the region of Argob as far as the border of the Geshurites and the Maacathites, that is, Bashan, and named it after his own name: Havvoth jair, as it is to this day.)To Machir I gave Gilead.To the Reubenites and the Gadites I gave from Gilead even as far as the Valley of Arnon, the middle of the valley as a border, and as far as the river Jabbok, the border of the sons of Ammon;the Arabah also, with the Jordan as a border, from Chinnereth even as far as the sea of the Arabah, the Salt Sea, at the foot of the slopes of Pisgah on the east.

and just as My Father has granted Me a kingdom, I grant youthat you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom, and you will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.“ Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has demanded to sift you men like wheat;but I have prayed for you, that your faith will not fail; and you, when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.”But he said to Him,“ Lord, I am ready to go with You both to prison and to death!”But He said,“ I tell you, Peter, the rooster will not crow today until you have denied three times that you know Me.”And He said to them,“ When I sent you out without money belt and bag and sandals, you did not lack anything, did you?” They said,“ No, nothing.”And He said to them,“ But now, whoever has a money belt is to take it along, likewise also a bag, and whoever has no sword is to sell his cloak and buy one.For I tell you that this which is written must be fulfilled in Me:‘ And He was counted with wrongdoers’; for that which refers to Me has its fulfillment.”They said,“ Lord, look, here are two swords.” And He said to them,“ It is enough.”And He came out and went, as was His habit, to the Mount of Olives; and the disciples also followed Him.Now when He arrived at the place, He said to them,“ Pray that you do not come into temptation.”And He withdrew from them about a stone’s throw, and He knelt down and began to pray,saying,“ Father, if You are willing, remove this cup from Me; yet not My will, but Yours be done.”

And Moses said to them,“ If the sons of Gad and the sons of Reuben, everyone who is armed for battle, cross with you over the Jordan in the presence of the Lord, and the land is subdued before you, then you shall give them the land of Gilead as their property;

Then Israel struck him with the edge of the sword, and took possession of his land from the Arnon to the Jabbok, as far as the sons of Ammon; for the border of the sons of Ammon was Jazer.Israel took all these cities, and Israel lived in all the cities of the Amorites, in Heshbon and in all her villages.For Heshbon was the city of Sihon, king of the Amorites, who had fought against the former king of Moab and had taken all his land out of his hand, as far as the Arnon.For that reason those who use proverbs say,“ Come to Heshbon! Let it be built! So let the city of Sihon be established.For a fire spread from Heshbon, A flame from the town of Sihon; It devoured Ar of Moab, The dominant heights of the Arnon.Woe to you, Moab! You are destroyed, people of Chemosh! He has given his sons as fugitives, And his daughters into captivity, To an Amorite king, Sihon.But we have shot them down with arrows, Heshbon is destroyed as far as Dibon, Then we have laid waste as far as Nophah, Which reaches to Medeba.”So Israel lived in the land of the Amorites.Now Moses sent men to spy out Jazer, and they captured its villages and dispossessed the Amorites who were there.Then they turned and went up by the way of Bashan, and Og the king of Bashan went out against them with all his people, for battle at Edrei.But the Lord said to Moses,“ Do not fear him, for I have handed him over to you, and all his people and his land; and you shall do to him as you did to Sihon, king of the Amorites, who lived in Heshbon.”So they killed him and his sons and all his people, until there was no survivor left; and they took possession of his land.
