to the Canaanites in the east and west; to the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites and Jebusites in the hill country; and to the Hivites below Hermon in the region of Mizpah.

Jabin sent the same message to the people of east Canaan and west Canaan. He sent it to the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites and Jebusites. They lived in the central hill country. He also sent it to the Hivites who lived below Mount Hermon in the area of Mizpah.

又叫米斯巴，意思说：“我们彼此离别以后，愿耶和华在你我中间鉴察。

又有基列地、基述人、玛迦人的地界，并黑门全山、巴珊全地，直到撒迦；

至于住耶路撒冷的耶布斯人，犹大人不能把他们赶出去，耶布斯人却在耶路撒冷与犹大人同住，直到今日。

撒母耳说：“要使以色列众人聚集在米斯巴，我好为你们祷告耶和华。”他们就聚集在米斯巴，打水浇在耶和华面前，当日禁食，说：“我们得罪了耶和华。”于是撒母耳在米斯巴审判以色列人。非利士人听见以色列人聚集在米斯巴，非利士的首领就上来要攻击以色列人。以色列人听见，就惧怕非利士人。

以色列人彼此问说：“以色列各支派中，谁没有同会众上到耶和华面前来呢？”先是以色列人起过大誓说，凡不上米斯巴到耶和华面前来的，必将他治死。

至于我，我要住在米斯巴，伺候那到我们这里来的迦勒底人；只是你们当积蓄酒、油，和夏天的果子，收在器皿里，住在你们所占的城邑中。”

以色列人竟住在迦南人、赫人、亚摩利人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人中间，

我的新妇，求你与我一同离开黎巴嫩，与我一同离开黎巴嫩。从亚玛拿顶，从示尼珥与黑门顶，从有狮子的洞，从有豹子的山往下观看。

南北为你所创造；他泊和黑门都因你的名欢呼。

天使向耶路撒冷伸手要灭城的时候，耶和华后悔，就不降这灾了，吩咐灭民的天使说：“够了！住手吧！”那时耶和华的使者在耶布斯人亚劳拿的禾场那里。

从亚嫩谷边的亚罗珥，直到西云山，就是黑门山。

撒母耳将百姓招聚到米斯巴耶和华那里，

底连、米斯巴、约帖、

这样，以实玛利从米斯巴所掳去的众人都转身归加利亚的儿子约哈难去了。

亚玛力人住在南地；赫人、耶布斯人、亚摩利人住在山地；迦南人住在海边并约旦河旁。”

又好比黑门的甘露降在锡安山；因为在那里有耶和华所命定的福，就是永远的生命。

以实玛利又杀了在米斯巴、基大利那里的一切犹大人和所遇见的迦勒底兵丁。

又彼此问说：“以色列支派中谁没有上米斯巴到耶和华面前来呢？”他们就查出基列雅比没有一人进营到会众那里；

于是亚撒王宣告犹大众人，不准一个推辞，吩咐他们将巴沙修筑拉玛所用的石头、木头都运去，用以修筑便雅悯的迦巴和米斯巴。

“耶和华你神领你进入要得为业之地，从你面前赶出许多国民，就是赫人、革迦撒人、亚摩利人、迦南人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人，共七国的民，都比你强大。

耶利米就到米斯巴见亚希甘的儿子基大利，在他那里住在境内剩下的民中。

于是以色列从但到别是巴，以及住基列地的众人都出来，如同一人，聚集在米斯巴耶和华面前。

至于国中所剩下不属以色列人的亚摩利人、赫人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人，
