to the Canaanites in the east and west; to the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites and Jebusites in the hill country; and to the Hivites below Hermon in the region of Mizpah.

Jabin sent the same message to the people of east Canaan and west Canaan. He sent it to the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites and Jebusites. They lived in the central hill country. He also sent it to the Hivites who lived below Mount Hermon in the area of Mizpah.

又名叫米斯巴，因为拉班说：“我们彼此分离以后，愿耶和华在你我中间鉴察。

又有基列地、基述人和玛迦人的境界，以及整个黑门山、巴珊全地，直到撒迦；

至于住在耶路撒冷的耶布斯人，犹大人不能把他们赶走；所以耶布斯人在耶路撒冷与犹大人同住，直到今日。

撒母耳又说：“你们要把以色列众人都聚集在米斯巴，我好为你们向耶和华祷告。”于是，他们聚集在米斯巴，打了水，浇奠在耶和华面前；当日他们禁食，并且在那里说：“我们得罪了耶和华。”撒母耳就在米斯巴治理以色列人。非利士人听见以色列人集合在米斯巴，各城的领袖就上来攻打以色列人；以色列人听见了，都害怕起来。

以色列人彼此说：“以色列各支派中，谁没有与会众上到耶和华面前来呢？”因为他们曾经起过很严厉的誓，说：“不上米斯巴到耶和华面前的，必把他处死。”

至于我，我要留在米斯巴，侍候那些来到我们这里的迦勒底人。你们只管收存酒、夏天的果子和油，放在器皿里，并且住在你们所占有的城中。”

以色列人就住在迦南人、赫人、亚摩利人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人中间；

我的新妇啊！与我同去黎巴嫩山。与我前往黎巴嫩山。从亚玛拿山顶，从示尼珥和黑门山顶，从狮子洞，从豹子山俯望。

南北都是你创造的，他泊和黑门都因你的名欢呼。

当天使向耶路撒冷伸手，要毁灭耶路撒冷的时候，耶和华就后悔降这灾祸，就对那毁灭众民的天使说：“够了，现在住手吧！”那时，耶和华的天使在耶布斯人亚劳拿的打禾场那里。

从亚嫩谷边的亚罗珥，直到西云山，西云山就是黑门山；

撒母耳召集众民到米斯巴耶和华那里，

底连、米斯巴、约帖、

于是以实玛利从米斯巴掳去的众民都转身，归到加利亚的儿子约哈难那里。

有亚玛力人住在南地；赫人、耶布斯人、亚摩利人住在山地；迦南人住在海边和约旦河沿岸。”

又好比黑门的甘露落在锡安的众山上，在那里有耶和华命定的福，就是永远的生命。

以实玛利也击杀了所有在米斯巴和基大利一起的犹大人，以及在那里所遇见的迦勒底军兵。

他们又彼此问：“以色列各支派中，有谁没有上米斯巴到耶和华面前来的呢？”他们就发现基列．雅比中没有一人去到营中会众那里。

于是亚撒王通告犹大众人，没有一个人例外。他们就把巴沙修筑拉玛所用的石头和木料运走；亚撒王用那些材料来修筑便雅悯的迦巴和米斯巴。

“耶和华你的神领你进入你要去得为业的地，从你面前赶走许多民族，就是赫人、革迦撒人、亚摩利人、迦南人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人，共七个比你又大又强的民族。

耶利米就到米斯巴去见亚希甘的儿子基大利，和他一同住在那地剩下的人民中间。

于是以色列众人都出来，从但到别是巴，以及基列地的众人，都在米斯巴耶和华面前聚集起来如同一人。

所有亚摩利人、赫人、比利洗人、希未人和耶布斯人余下的人，他们不是以色列人。
