約書亞照永恆主所吩咐他的、將猶大人中一分地業、基列亞巴、分給了耶孚尼的兒子迦勒；亞巴是亞衲人的祖（基列亞巴就是希伯崙）。迦勒就從那裏把亞衲人的三個兒子、示篩、亞希幔、撻買、趕出；他們是亞衲人的後代。

我就觀看，見有一匹白馬。騎馬的執有弓；有華冠賜給他。他就出來，得勝着，還要得勝。

願他們喉嚨中稱讚上帝為至高；願他們手裏有雙刃的刀，好向外國人伸冤，向萬族之民施懲罰，好用鎖鍊捆他們的君王，用鐵鐐鎖他們的貴臣，好在他們身上施行紀錄於冊的判罰：他堅貞之民都有這樣的尊榮。哈利路亞！

我主我王在他右邊，當他發怒的日子、他必痛擊列王。他必在列國中施刑罰，使山谷中滿了屍身；他必痛擊廣大地域上的首領。

我看見天開着，見有一匹白馬。那騎馬的稱為忠信而真實：他審判、他爭戰、都本着公義。他的眼睛像火燄；他頭上戴着許多冠冕；他有名字寫着、除了他自己、沒有人能認識；他披着浸過血的衣裳；他的名字稱為「上帝之道」。天上的眾軍、穿着細麻衣、白而潔淨，騎着白馬跟着他。有一把利劍從他口中吐出，用了這個、可以擊打列國；他必用鐵杖管轄他們；他踹着全能者上帝震怒報應之酒醡。他有名字在他衣裳和大腿上寫着說：「萬王之王，萬主之主」。我看見有一位天使站在日頭中、向天頂點上一切飛着的鳥大聲喊着說：『你們來，聚集來赴上帝的大筵席，好喫君王的肉、千夫長的肉、壯士的肉、馬和騎馬者的肉、自主的為奴的、小的大的、眾人的肉。』我看見那獸和地上的君王跟他們的眾軍、都聚集了來、要對那騎馬的和他的軍隊作戰。那獸被逮，那假神言人、就是那在獸面前行過神迹、用神迹迷惑了受獸印記和拜獸像的人的、也和獸一同被逮；這兩個活活地丟在那有硫磺燒着的火湖裏。其餘的被騎馬者口中吐出的劍殺了；眾鳥都喫飽了他們的肉。

這一切王和他們的地、約書亞都儘一次地攻取了，因為永恆主以色列的上帝為以色列爭戰。

在那裏我們看見了巨人、亞衲人的子孫、屬於巨人一種的；據我們看、我們正如蚱蜢一樣；據他們看、我們也正如蚱蜢。

永恆主這麼說：智慧人不要誇耀自己的智慧，勇士不要誇耀自己的勇力，財主也不要誇耀自己的財富；

你們過了約但河，來到耶利哥；耶利哥公民和你們交戰，亞摩利人、比利洗人、迦南人、赫人、革迦撒人、希未人、耶布斯人、也攻擊你們；我把他們交在你們手裏。我打發了大黃蜂在你們前面，將亞摩利人的兩個王從你們面前趕出，並不是用你的刀，也不是用你的弓。

猶大人去攻擊住希伯崙的迦南人，擊殺了示篩、亞希幔、撻買；希伯崙從前名叫基列亞巴。他們從那裏去攻擊底璧的居民；底璧從前名叫基列西弗。
