As the Lord commanded his servant Moses, so Moses commanded Joshua, and Joshua did it; he left nothing undone of all that the Lord commanded Moses.

The Lord had commanded his servant Moses to do all these things. Moses had passed that command on to Joshua. And Joshua carried it out. He did everything the Lord had commanded Moses.

Just as the Lord had commanded Moses his servant, so Moses commanded Joshua, and so Joshua did. He left nothing undone of all that the Lord had commanded Moses.

惟爾強志壯心、守我僕摩西所諭之律法、不偏於左、不偏於右、則不論所往、俾爾納福。

今日所諭、爾必守之、我將驅亞摩哩人、迦南人、赫人、比哩洗人、希未人、耶布士人於爾前、爾所往之地、勿與其民立約、恐陷爾於坎阱。必摧其壇、毀其像、斫其偶、

爾之上帝耶和華既以之付爾、則爾勿姑縱、必攻擊之、殲滅之、勿與立約。

凡益爾者、我無所隱、或眾前、或家居、示爾教爾、

摩西在以色列眾前、召約書亞、告之曰、強乃志、壯乃心、昔耶和華與列祖發誓、以斯土予民、爾必偕行、使彼得之、

我以上帝旨告爾、無隱乎爾、○

在猶大地上帝使民一心、遵從王與群伯所傳耶和華命。○

我所諭者、爾必遵行、毋增毋減。

我以法度禮儀教爾、使爾行之、在爾所得之地、遵我上帝耶和華命、

我之諭言、乃爾上帝耶和華所命者、爾當遵從、不可增、亦不可減。

何不聽耶和華命、乃作惡於其前、見敵所有、而行劫奪。掃羅曰、耶和華遣我、我果聽命、我至亞馬力、虜其王亞甲、盡滅其眾。所應滅之牛羊、民簡其佳者、欲在吉甲祭爾之上帝耶和華。撒母耳曰、耶和華豈以燔祭禮物為喜、不以聽從其命為喜乎。夫聽命較獻祭尤善、遵言較羊脂愈美。

掃羅違我、不遵我命、昔立之為王、今則悔焉。撒母耳甚憂、終夜禱耶和華。

以色列族循耶和華所諭摩西之命、而作諸工。摩西觀諸工、悉遵耶和華所諭而作、故摩西為之祝嘏。

約書亞取諸邑、與其王、以刃擊之、翦滅其眾、靡有孑遺、循耶和華僕摩西之命。

生擒亞馬力王亞甲、其諸億兆、殲滅以刃。掃羅與民赦亞甲、惜牛羊及羔、其嘉者、其次者、暨凡合其意者、不滅之盡、惟鄙陋之物、悉被殲滅。

撒母耳告掃羅曰、我奉耶和華所遣、以膏沐爾、使為以色列民之王、今耶和華之命爾當聽從。萬有之主耶和華云、昔以色列族出自埃及、亞馬力人伏於途間、我常不忘。今可攻之、殲滅所有、毋加矜恤、男女、童稚、嬰孩、牛羊駝驢、悉當殺戮。

𠵽唎㘔人、其有禍乎、蓋爾於薄荷、芸香、菜蔬、十輸其一、而義與愛上帝、則廢之、然爾所當行者此也、彼第不可遺耳、

偽善之士子、𠵽唎㘔人、其有禍乎、蓋爾於薄荷、八角、馬芹、十輸其一、但律法之尤重者、若義、與仁、與信、爾則遺之、然爾所當行者此也、彼第不可遺耳、
