The one who has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. And the one who loves me will be loved by my Father. I also will love him and will reveal myself to him.”

He said,“ Rather, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it.”

Therefore, observe the words of this covenant and follow them, so that you will succeed in everything you do.

“ Therefore, everyone who hears these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.

But be doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.Because if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like someone looking at his own face in a mirror.For he looks at himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of person he was.But the one who looks intently into the perfect law of freedom and perseveres in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer who works— this person will be blessed in what he does.

I have treasured your word in my heart so that I may not sin against you.

How I love your instruction! It is my meditation all day long.

How happy is the one who does not walk in the advice of the wicked or stand in the pathway with sinners or sit in the company of mockers!Instead, his delight is in the LORD’s instruction, and he meditates on it day and night.He is like a tree planted beside flowing streams that bears its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. The mouth of the righteous utters wisdom; his tongue speaks what is just.The instruction of his God is in his heart; his steps do not falter.

Above all, be strong and very courageous to observe carefully the whole instruction my servant Moses commanded you. Do not turn from it to the right or the left, so that you will have success wherever you go.

If you know these things, you are blessed if you do them.

But the message is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, so that you may follow it.

If only they had such a heart to fear me and keep all my commands always, so that they and their children would prosper forever.

A good person produces good things from his storeroom of good, and an evil person produces evil things from his storeroom of evil.

when all Israel assembles in the presence of the LORD your God at the place he chooses, you are to read this law aloud before all Israel.

No foul language should come from your mouth, but only what is good for building up someone in need, so that it gives grace to those who hear.

Don’t neglect the gift that is in you; it was given to you through prophecy, with the laying on of hands by the council of elders.Practice these things; be committed to them, so that your progress may be evident to all.Pay close attention to your life and your teaching; persevere in these things, for in doing this you will save both yourself and your hearers.

I did not hide your righteousness in my heart; I spoke about your faithfulness and salvation; I did not conceal your constant love and truth from the great assembly.

“ Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and may enter the city by the gates.

When he is seated on his royal throne, he is to write a copy of this instruction for himself on a scroll in the presence of the Levitical priests.It is to remain with him, and he is to read from it all the days of his life, so that he may learn to fear the LORD his God, to observe all the words of this instruction, and to do these statutes.
