“ Moses my servant is dead. Get ready! Cross the Jordan River! Lead these people into the land which I am ready to hand over to them.

我僕摩西死矣、今爾與民起而濟此約但、往我所賜以色列族之地、

我僕摩西逝世、爾今導民濟約但、至我所賜以色列族之地。

我僕摩西死矣、今爾起、導斯眾民、過此約但、至我所賜以色列人之地、

“ Moses my servant is dead. Now then, you and all these people, get ready to cross the Jordan River into the land I am about to give to them— to the Israelites.

“ My servant Moses is dead. Now then, I want you and all these people to get ready to go across the Jordan River. I want all of you to go into the land I am about to give to the Israelites.

“ Moses my servant is dead. Now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, into the land that I am giving to them, to the people of Israel.

“ Moses my servant is dead. Therefore, the time has come for you to lead these people, the Israelites, across the Jordan River into the land I am giving them.

“ Moses my servant is dead. Now you and all the people prepare to cross over the Jordan to the land I am giving the Israelites.

“ Moses My servant is dead; so now arise, cross this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them, to the sons of Israel.

“ Moses My servant is dead. Now therefore, arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them— the children of Israel.

Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel.

“ Moses My servant is dead. Now you and all the people prepare to cross over the Jordan to the land I am giving the Israelites.

“ Moses my servant is dead. Now therefore arise, go across this Jordan, you and all these people, to the land which I am giving to them, even to the children of Israel.

Commission Joshua, and encourage and strengthen him, because he will lead these people over and will enable them to inherit the land you will see.”

“ Go through the camp and command the people,‘ Prepare your supplies, for within three days you will cross the Jordan River and begin the conquest of the land the LORD your God is ready to hand over to you.’”

“ Here is my servant whom I support, my chosen one in whom I take pleasure. I have placed my spirit on him; he will make just decrees for the nations.

Then Moses called out to Joshua in the presence of all Israel,“ Be strong and courageous, for you will accompany these people to the land that the LORD promised to give their ancestors, and you will enable them to inherit it.

After Moses the LORD’s servant died, the LORD said to Joshua son of Nun, Moses’ assistant:

“ Let the LORD, the God of the spirits of all humankind, appoint a man over the community,who will go out before them, and who will come in before them, and who will lead them out, and who will bring them in, so that the community of the LORD may not be like sheep that have no shepherd.”The LORD replied to Moses,“ Take Joshua son of Nun, a man in whom is such a spirit, and lay your hand on him;set him before Eleazar the priest and before the whole community, and commission him publicly.Then you must delegate some of your authority to him, so that the whole community of the Israelites will be obedient.And he will stand before Eleazar the priest, who will seek counsel for him before the LORD by the decision of the Urim. At his command they will go out, and at his command they will come in, he and all the Israelites with him, the whole community.”

Now Moses was faithful in all God’s house as a servant, to testify to the things that would be spoken.But Christ is faithful as a son over God’s house. We are of his house, if in fact we hold firmly to our confidence and the hope we take pride in.

And the others who became priests were numerous, because death prevented them from continuing in office,but he holds his priesthood permanently since he lives forever.
