Just as we fully obeyed Moses, so we will obey you. Only may the Lord your God be with you as he was with Moses.

Then David said to his son Solomon,“ Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Don’t be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD God, my God, is with you. He won’t leave you or abandon you until all the work for the service of the LORD’s house is finished.

May the LORD answer you in a day of trouble; may the name of Jacob’s God protect you.

First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for everyone,for kings and all those who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.

LORD, give victory to the king! May he answer us on the day that we call.

Just as the LORD was with my lord the king, so may he be with Solomon and make his throne greater than the throne of my lord King David.”

Then the crowds who went ahead of him and those who followed shouted: Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest heaven!

LORD, save us! LORD, please grant us success!He who comes in the name of the LORD is blessed. From the house of the LORD we bless you.
