我们的祖先相继承受了这会幕，并且与约书亚一起把它带进了继业之地，就是神从我们祖先面前赶出的外邦人的地，直到大卫的时代。

我保罗做神的奴仆、耶稣基督的使徒，是为了神所拣选之人的信仰，以及那带来敬神的真理知识；

神和主耶稣基督的奴仆雅各，问候散居在各地的十二个支派。

在最小的事上忠心的人，在很多事上也忠心；在最小的事上不义的人，在很多事上也不义。

是那永生的。我曾经死过，可是看哪，我现在活着，直到永永远远，并且拿着死亡和阴间的钥匙。

就是说，大卫虽然在自己的世代，遵行了神的计划之后就睡了，归到他祖先那里，并且经历了腐朽，但是神使之复活的那一位，没有经历腐朽。

你们当中却不是这样；相反，谁想在你们当中为大，谁就该做你们的仆人；无论谁想在你们当中为首，谁就该做你们的奴仆，

我保罗做基督耶稣的奴仆、蒙召的使徒，是为了神的福音被分别出来的。
