Joshua son of Nun was filled with the spirit of wisdom because Moses had laid his hands on him. So the Israelites obeyed him and did as the LORD had commanded Moses.

So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the LORD’s word.

So Moses arose with his assistant Joshua and went up the mountain of God.

Joshua son of Nun, who attends you, will enter it. Encourage him, for he will enable Israel to inherit it.

These were the names of the men Moses sent to scout out the land, and Moses renamed Hoshea son of Nun, Joshua.

The LORD your God is the one who will cross ahead of you. He will destroy these nations before you, and you will drive them out. Joshua is the one who will cross ahead of you, as the LORD has said.

When she came up to the man of God at the mountain, she clung to his feet. Gehazi came to push her away, but the man of God said,“ Leave her alone— she is in severe anguish, and the LORD has hidden it from me. He hasn’t told me.”Then she said,“ Did I ask my lord for a son? Didn’t I say,‘ Do not lie to me?’”So Elisha said to Gehazi,“ Tuck your mantle under your belt, take my staff with you, and go. If you meet anyone, don’t stop to greet him, and if a man greets you, don’t answer him. Then place my staff on the boy’s face.”

But Jehoshaphat said,“ Isn’t there a prophet of the LORD here? Let’s inquire of the LORD through him.” One of the servants of the king of Israel answered,“ Elisha son of Shaphat, who used to pour water on Elijah’s hands, is here.”

Moses said to Joshua,“ Select some men for us and go fight against Amalek. Tomorrow I will stand on the hilltop with God’s staff in my hand.”Joshua did as Moses had told him, and fought against Amalek, while Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.While Moses held up his hand, Israel prevailed, but whenever he put his hand down, Amalek prevailed.When Moses’s hands grew heavy, they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat down on it. Then Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side and one on the other so that his hands remained steady until the sun went down.So Joshua defeated Amalek and his army with the sword.

This is the blessing that Moses, the man of God, gave the Israelites before his death.
