To the roots of the mountains I sank down; the earth beneath barred me in forever. But you, Lord my God, brought my life up from the pit.

大山未曾奠定，小山未有之先，我已生出。耶和华还没有创造大地和田野，并世上的土质，我已生出。他立高天，我在那里；他在渊面的周围，划出圆圈。上使穹苍坚硬，下使渊源稳固，为沧海定出界限，使水不越过他的命令，立定大地的根基。

因为你必不将我的灵魂撇在阴间，也不叫你的圣者见朽坏。

谁曾用手心量诸水，用手虎口量苍天，用升斗盛大地的尘土，用秤称山岭，用天平平冈陵呢？

神啊，你必使恶人下入灭亡的坑；流人血、行诡诈的人必活不到半世，但我要倚靠你。

诸山升上，诸谷沉下，归你为它所安定之地。

耶和华啊，求你速速应允我！我心神耗尽！不要向我掩面，免得我像那些下坑的人一样。

他既以大能束腰，就用力量安定诸山，

神就给他开恩，说：‘救赎他免得下坑；我已经得了赎价。’

神已经向我们这作儿女的应验，叫耶稣复活了。正如诗篇第二篇上记着说：‘你是我的儿子，我今日生你。’论到神叫他从死里复活，不再归于朽坏，就这样说：‘我必将所应许大卫那圣洁、可靠的恩典赐给你们。’“又有一篇上说：‘你必不叫你的圣者见朽坏。’“大卫在世的时候遵行了神的旨意，就睡了，归到他祖宗那里，已见朽坏；惟独神所复活的，他并未见朽坏。

“我被害流血，下到坑中，有什么益处呢？尘土岂能称赞你，传说你的诚实吗？

“我立大地根基的时候，你在哪里呢？你若有聪明，只管说吧！你若晓得就说，是谁定地的尺度？是谁把准绳拉在其上？地的根基安置在何处？地的角石是谁安放的？那时，晨星一同歌唱；神的众子也都欢呼。“海水冲出，如出胎胞，那时谁将它关闭呢？是我用云彩当海的衣服，用幽暗当包裹它的布，为它定界限，又安门和闩，说：‘你只可到这里，不可越过；你狂傲的浪要到此止住。’

因为在我怒中有火烧起，直烧到极深的阴间，把地和地的出产尽都焚烧，山的根基也烧着了。

他站立，量了大地，观看，赶散万民。永久的山崩裂；长存的岭塌陷；他的作为与古时一样。

你用深水遮盖地面，犹如衣裳；诸水高过山岭。

山岭见你，无不战惧；大水泛滥过去，深渊发声，汹涌翻腾。

神救赎我的灵魂免入深坑；我的生命也必见光。’
