To the roots of the mountains I sank down; the earth beneath barred me in forever. But you, Lord my God, brought my life up from the pit.

大山未曾奠定，小丘未曾形成，我已经出生。那时耶和华还没有造大地和原野，还没有造一粒尘土。祂铺设诸天的时候，我已在场。祂在深渊上画出地平线，上使穹苍坚固，下使深渊的泉源安稳，设定沧海的界限，使海水不得越过祂定的范围，为大地奠定根基的时候，

你不会把我的灵魂撇在阴间，也不会让你的圣者身体朽坏。

谁曾用手心量海水？谁曾用手掌度苍天？谁曾用升斗盛大地的尘土？谁曾用秤称高山，用天平称丘陵？

上帝啊，你必把恶人送进灭亡的坑里。嗜血成性的骗子必早早夭亡。但我要信靠你。

漫过山峦，流进山谷，归到你指定的地方。

耶和华啊，求你快快应允我！我已绝望，求你不要掩面不顾我，不然我必和下坟墓的人无异。

你充满力量，以大能创造群山，

上帝就会怜悯他，说，‘别让他下坟墓，我已得到他的赎金。’

祂借着使耶稣复活已为我们做子孙的成就了。正如诗篇第二篇所说，“‘你是我的儿子，我今日成为你父亲。’圣经曾这样记载上帝使祂从死里复活、永不朽坏的事，“‘我必将应许大卫的圣洁、可靠的恩福赐给你们。’又在诗篇上说，“‘你必不让你的圣者身体朽坏。’“大卫在世时遵行上帝的旨意，最后死了，葬在他祖先那里，肉身也朽坏了。然而，上帝使之复活的那位却没有朽坏。

“耶和华啊，我被毁灭、落入坟墓有何益处？我归于尘土，还能赞美你、宣扬你的信实吗？

“我立大地根基的时候，你在哪里？你若那么聪明，请告诉我。你可知道谁为大地定的尺寸？谁用准绳把它丈量？是什么支撑大地的根基？谁为它安放的基石？当时晨星齐声歌唱，众天使都发出欢呼。“大海从母胎奔腾而出时，谁为它划定界限？是我为大海披上云彩，为它裹上厚厚的幽暗。是我为它划定界限，并安上门和闩，说，‘你到此为止，不可越界；你狂傲的波涛要停在这里。’

我的怒火已经点燃，要烧到阴间的尽头，吞灭大地及其出产，甚至烧毁山的根基。

祂停下，大地就震动；祂观看，万民就战栗。古老的山岳崩裂，远古的丘陵塌陷，但祂的作为永远不变。

你以深水为衣覆盖大地，淹没群山。

群山看见你就战栗，大雨倾盆，深渊翻腾，波浪滔天。

祂救赎我的灵魂，使之免下深坑，使我的生命得见光明。’
