Then Yahweh spoke to the fish, and it vomited out Jonah on the dry land.

And the Lord commanded the fish, and it vomited Jonah onto dry land.

The Lord gave the fish a command. And it spit Jonah up onto dry land.

And the Lord spoke to the fish, and it vomited Jonah out upon the dry land.

Then the Lord ordered the fish to spit Jonah out onto the beach.

God said,“ Let there be light,” and there was light.

He said to them,“ Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then he got up, rebuked the wind and the sea, and there was a great calm.The men marveled, saying,“ What kind of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?”

Yahweh prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah, and Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.

The centurion answered,“ Lord, I’m not worthy for you to come under my roof. Just say the word, and my servant will be healed.For I am also a man under authority, having under myself soldiers. I tell this one,‘ Go,’ and he goes; and tell another,‘ Come,’ and he comes; and tell my servant,‘ Do this,’ and he does it.”

Why, when I came, was there no one? When I called, why was there no one to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it can’t redeem? Or have I no power to deliver? Behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea. I make the rivers a wilderness. Their fish stink because there is no water, and die of thirst.

God said,“ Let the earth yield grass, herbs yielding seeds, and fruit trees bearing fruit after their kind, with their seeds in it, on the earth;” and it was so.

God made the expanse, and divided the waters which were under the expanse from the waters which were above the expanse; and it was so.

For he spoke, and it was done. He commanded, and it stood firm.

He spoke, and the locusts came with the grasshoppers, without number,

He spoke, and swarms of flies came, and lice in all their borders.

God said,“ Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs to mark seasons, days, and years;

God said,“ Let the waters under the sky be gathered together to one place, and let the dry land appear;” and it was so.
