He answered,“ I am a Hebrew and I worship the Lord, the God of heaven, who made the sea and the dry land.”

And he said unto them, I[ am] an Hebrew; and I fear the LORD, the God of heaven, which hath made the sea and the dry[ land].

He said to them,“ I am a Hebrew! And I worship the LORD, the God of heaven, who made the sea and the dry land.”

He said to them,“ I am a Hebrew, and I fear Yahweh, the God of heaven, who has made the sea and the dry land.”

The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land.Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!

As soon as I heard these words I sat down and wept and mourned for days, and I continued fasting and praying before the God of heaven.

And this was their reply to us:‘ We are the servants of the God of heaven and earth, and we are rebuilding the house that was built many years ago, which a great king of Israel built and finished.

and told them to seek mercy from the God of heaven concerning this mystery, so that Daniel and his companions might not be destroyed with the rest of the wise men of Babylon.Then the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a vision of the night. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven.

Who will not fear, O Lord, and glorify your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship you, for your righteous acts have been revealed.”

“ Men, why are you doing these things? We also are men, of like nature with you, and we bring you good news, that you should turn from these vain things to a living God, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and all that is in them.

And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed, nor shall the kingdom be left to another people. It shall break in pieces all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, and it shall stand forever,
