Then the sailors said to each other,“ Come, let us cast lots to find out who is responsible for this calamity.” They cast lots and the lot fell on Jonah.

Here is what the sailors said to one another.“ Someone is to blame for getting us into all this trouble. Come. Let’s cast lots to find out who it is.” So they did. And Jonah was picked.

And they said to one another,“ Come, let us cast lots, that we may know on whose account this evil has come upon us.” So they cast lots, and the lot fell on Jonah.

Then the crew cast lots to see which of them had offended the gods and caused the terrible storm. When they did this, the lots identified Jonah as the culprit.

“ Come on!” the sailors said to each other.“ Let’s cast lots. Then we’ll know who is to blame for this trouble we’re in.” So they cast lots, and the lot singled out Jonah.

And each man said to his mate,“ Come, let’s cast lots so that we may find out on whose account this catastrophe has struck us.” So they cast lots, and the lot fell on Jonah.

And they said to one another,“ Come, let us cast lots, that we may know for whose cause this trouble has come upon us.” So they cast lots, and the lot fell on Jonah.

互相輔助、互相勸勉、曰壯乃心、木工勉金工、司錘磨光者、勉擊砧者、論銲工曰、銲則善矣、遂釘之以釘、使不動搖、○

耶和華諭約書亞曰、起、何為伏地若此、

掃羅告以色列之上帝耶和華曰、願爾指示其實、乃掣籤、得掃羅及約拿單、民得免焉、掃羅曰、於我及我子約拿單間掣籤、乃得約拿單、

撒母耳使以色列諸支派進前、而得便雅憫支派、使便雅憫支派、循其室家進前、而得瑪特利家、後得基士子掃羅、索之不獲、

籤置膝上、定事在耶和華、

不然、則干犯耶和華、當知罪必及爾、

既釘之十架、鬮分其衣、

是以時未至、俱勿擬、待主臨、必彰暗中之隱、發眾心之謀、各由上帝得其褒也、○

既滅迦南七族、則分其地、與之為業、約四百五十年、

基甸既至、適有以夢告同儕曰、我夢麰麥餅一、轉入米甸營、至於一幕、衝而覆之、同儕曰、此非他、乃以色列人約阿施子基甸之刃、上帝已以米甸全軍付於其手、

於是舉二人、一約瑟稱巴撒巴又名猶士都、一馬提亞、乃祈曰、識眾心之主歟、於此二人、示爾所選者為誰、俾得與於此役、及使徒之職、猶大已由之墮落、而往己地矣、於是鬮之、得馬提亞、遂與十一使徒同列焉、

必掣籤、往攻基比亞、於以色列諸支派中、百取十、千取百、萬取千、使備餱糧、迨眾至便雅憫之基比亞、則依其在以色列中、所行謬妄之事以待之、

分我外衣、鬮我衷服兮、

掃羅曰、爾民長俱前來、察知今日之罪何在、我指救以色列、維生之耶和華而誓、雖我子約拿單、亦必死亡、民中無人應之、

語上帝曰、毋擬我罪、示我何因、與我爭辯、

亞哈隨魯王十二年正月、即尼散月、人在哈曼前、按日與月掣普珥、即籤、至十二月、即亞達月為吉、

耶和華會眾云、爾今轉離、不從耶和華、干犯以色列之上帝、為己築壇、悖逆耶和華、此何罪耶、昔拜毘珥之罪、我儕以為小乎、耶和華會眾緣此遘癘、至今罪未盡免、爾今又欲轉離、不從耶和華乎、今日悖逆耶和華、明日彼必怒以色列會眾、如爾所得之地、以為不潔、可歸耶和華會幕所在之地、得業於我儕中、但除我上帝耶和華壇外、勿築別壇、悖逆耶和華及我儕、昔謝拉裔亞干、豈非於當滅之物干罪、致怒及於以色列會眾乎、是其人之罪、不獨亡一人也、○
