Then the sailors said to each other,“ Come, let us cast lots to find out who is responsible for this calamity.” They cast lots and the lot fell on Jonah.

Here is what the sailors said to one another.“ Someone is to blame for getting us into all this trouble. Come. Let’s cast lots to find out who it is.” So they did. And Jonah was picked.

And they said to one another,“ Come, let us cast lots, that we may know on whose account this evil has come upon us.” So they cast lots, and the lot fell on Jonah.

Then the crew cast lots to see which of them had offended the gods and caused the terrible storm. When they did this, the lots identified Jonah as the culprit.

“ Come on!” the sailors said to each other.“ Let’s cast lots. Then we’ll know who is to blame for this trouble we’re in.” So they cast lots, and the lot singled out Jonah.

And each man said to his mate,“ Come, let’s cast lots so that we may find out on whose account this catastrophe has struck us.” So they cast lots, and the lot fell on Jonah.

各人帮助邻舍，对自己的兄弟说：“要坚强！”匠人鼓励工匠，用锤子打平金属的鼓励用锤子打砧的，论到焊接的说：“焊得好！”他们又用钉子把偶像钉稳，使它不会摇动。

扫罗对耶和华以色列的神说：“求你指明正确的抽签结果！”于是约拿单和扫罗被抽中，军兵都脱罪了。扫罗说：“在我和我儿子约拿单之间抽签吧。”结果约拿单被抽中了。

撒母耳让以色列所有的支派都上前来，本雅明支派被抽中；然后让本雅明支派按着家族上前来，玛特利家族被抽中；最后基士的儿子扫罗被抽中。民众就寻找他，却找不到。

所抽的签抛在怀中，一切决断却来自耶和华。

他们把耶稣钉上十字架以后，抽签分了他的衣服，

所以时候没有到，在主来临之前，不要评断任何事；主将照亮黑暗中隐秘的事，显明人心里的计划。那时候，称赞将从神那里临到各人。

神消灭了迦南地的七个民族后，把他们的土地赐给我们的先祖为继业，

于是他们推举了两个人，就是那叫巴撒巴，又被称为犹斯托的约瑟，还有马提亚。他们就祷告说：“主啊，你洞察每个人的心。求你从这两个人中，指明你所拣选的是哪一位，使他得到这服事和使徒的职份。犹大背弃了这职份，去了自己的地方。”接着，他们为这两个人抽签，抽到了马提亚，他就与那十一个使徒同列。

他们彼此瓜分我的衣服，又为我的衣裳抽签。

扫罗说：“所有军兵的首领，你们都上这里来，要查看今天这罪是怎么发生的！我指着拯救以色列的耶和华的永生起誓：即使罪在我的儿子约拿单，他也必须死！”全体军兵中没有人回应他。

亚哈随鲁王十二年的一月，就是尼散月，有人在哈曼面前为每一个月的每一日抽普珥，就是抽签，一直抽到十二月，就是亚达月。
