Cain left Yahweh’s presence, and lived in the land of Nod, east of Eden.

The burden of Tyre. Howl, you ships of Tarshish! For it is laid waste, so that there is no house, no entering in. From the land of Kittim it is revealed to them.

Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which when translated, means Dorcas. This woman was full of good works and acts of mercy which she did.

Pass through your land like the Nile, daughter of Tarshish. There is no restraint any more.

“ Therefore, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision,

He prayed to Yahweh, and said,“ Please, Yahweh, wasn’t this what I said when I was still in my own country? Therefore I hurried to flee to Tarshish, for I knew that you are a gracious God, and merciful, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness, and you relent of doing harm.

For if I preach the Good News, I have nothing to boast about; for necessity is laid on me; but woe is to me if I don’t preach the Good News.

Pass over to Tarshish! Wail, you inhabitants of the coast!

He came to a cave there, and camped there; and behold, Yahweh’s word came to him, and he said to him,“ What are you doing here, Elijah?”

He stayed many days in Joppa with a tanner named Simon.

“‘“ Tarshish was your merchant by reason of the multitude of all kinds of riches. They traded for your wares with silver, iron, tin, and lead.

Yahweh said to Satan,“ Behold, all that he has is in your power. Only on himself don’t stretch out your hand.” So Satan went out from the presence of Yahweh.

Moses said,“ Oh, Lord, please send someone else.”Yahweh’s anger burned against Moses, and he said,“ What about Aaron, your brother, the Levite? I know that he can speak well. Also, behold, he is coming out to meet you. When he sees you, he will be glad in his heart.

But Paul didn’t think that it was a good idea to take with them someone who had withdrawn from them in Pamphylia, and didn’t go with them to do the work.

So the Spirit lifted me up, and took me away; and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; and Yahweh’s hand was strong on me.

Where could I go from your Spirit? Or where could I flee from your presence?If I ascend up into heaven, you are there. So Satan went out from the presence of Yahweh, and struck Job with painful sores from the sole of his foot to his head.

for all the ships of Tarshish, and for all pleasant imagery.

and we will cut wood out of Lebanon, as much as you need. We will bring it to you in rafts by sea to Joppa; then you shall carry it up to Jerusalem.”

They heard Yahweh God’s voice walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of Yahweh God among the trees of the garden.

When he saw that, he arose, and ran for his life, and came to Beersheba, which belongs to Judah, and left his servant there.

Surely the islands will wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring your sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, for the name of Yahweh your God, and for the Holy One of Israel, because he has glorified you.
