他施的民哪，可以流行你的地，好像尼羅河；不再有腰帶拘緊你。

「亞基帕王啊，我故此沒有違背那從天上來的異象；

就禱告耶和華說：「耶和華啊，我在本國的時候豈不是這樣說嗎？我知道你是有恩典、有憐憫的神，不輕易發怒，有豐盛的慈愛，並且後悔不降所說的災，所以我急速逃往他施去。

我傳福音原沒有可誇的，因為我是不得已的。若不傳福音，我便有禍了。

泰爾人哪，你們當過到他施去；沿海的居民哪，你們都當哀號。

他在那裏進了一個洞，就住在洞中。耶和華的話臨到他說：「以利亞啊，你在這裏做甚麼？」

耶和華啊，你曾勸導我，我也聽了你的勸導。你比我有力量，且勝了我。我終日成為笑話，人人都戲弄我。我每逢講論的時候，就發出哀聲，我喊叫說：有強暴和毀滅！因為耶和華的話終日成了我的凌辱、譏刺。我若說：我不再提耶和華，也不再奉他的名講論，我便心裏覺得似乎有燒着的火閉塞在我骨中，我就含忍不住，不能自禁。

此後，彼得在約帕一個硝皮匠西門的家裏住了多日。

「他施人因你多有各類的財物，就作你的客商，拿銀、鐵、錫、鉛兌換你的貨物。

耶和華對撒但說：「凡他所有的都在你手中；只是不可伸手加害於他。」於是撒但從耶和華面前退去。

摩西說：「主啊，你願意打發誰，就打發誰去吧！」耶和華向摩西發怒說：「不是有你的哥哥利未人亞倫嗎？我知道他是能言的；現在他出來迎接你，他一見你，心裏就歡喜。

但保羅因為馬可從前在旁非利亞離開他們，不和他們同去做工，就以為不可帶他去。

於是靈將我舉起，帶我而去。我心中甚苦，靈性忿激，並且耶和華的靈在我身上大有能力。

耶穌說：「手扶着犂向後看的，不配進神的國。」

他們要受刑罰，就是永遠沉淪，離開主的面和他權能的榮光。

我往哪裏去躲避你的靈？我往哪裏逃、躲避你的面？我若升到天上，你在那裏；我若在陰間下榻，你也在那裏。我若展開清晨的翅膀，飛到海極居住，就是在那裏，你的手必引導我；你的右手也必扶持我。我若說：黑暗必定遮蔽我，我周圍的亮光必成為黑夜；黑暗也不能遮蔽我，使你不見，黑夜卻如白晝發亮。黑暗和光明，在你看都是一樣。

於是撒但從耶和華面前退去，擊打約伯，使他從腳掌到頭頂長毒瘡。

又臨到他施的船隻並一切可愛的美物。

我們必照你所需用的，從黎巴嫩砍伐樹木，紮成筏子，浮海運到約帕；你可以從那裏運到耶路撒冷。」

天起了涼風，耶和華神在園中行走。那人和他妻子聽見神的聲音，就藏在園裏的樹木中，躲避耶和華神的面。

以利亞見這光景就起來逃命，到了猶大的別是巴，將僕人留在那裏，

眾海島必等候我，首先是他施的船隻，將你的眾子連他們的金銀從遠方一同帶來，都為耶和華－你神的名，又為以色列的聖者，因為他已經榮耀了你。
