他收復以色列的邊境，從哈馬口直到亞拉巴海，正如耶和華以色列的神的話，就是藉著他的僕人迦特希弗人亞米太的兒子約拿先知所說的；

眾人聚集的時候，耶穌就說：“這世代是個邪惡的世代。這世代尋求神蹟，可是除了約拿的神蹟以外，再沒有神蹟給他們了。約拿怎樣成了尼尼微人的神蹟，人子也照樣成為這個世代的神蹟。

審判的時候，尼尼微人要和這世代的人一同起來，他們要定這個世代的罪，因為尼尼微人聽了約拿所傳的就悔改了。你看，這裡有一位是比約拿更大的。

邪惡和淫亂的世代要尋求神蹟，除了約拿的神蹟之外，不會有甚麼神蹟給它了。”耶穌就離開他們走了。

但耶穌說：“邪惡和淫亂的世代尋求神蹟，除了約拿先知的神蹟以外，再沒有神蹟給你們了。約拿怎樣三日三夜在大魚的腹中，人子也要照樣三日三夜在地裡。審判的時候，尼尼微人要和這個世代一同起來，定這個世代的罪，因為他們聽了約拿所傳的就悔改了。你看，這裡有一位是比約拿更大的。
