The Lord will roar from Zion and thunder from Jerusalem; the earth and the heavens will tremble. But the Lord will be a refuge for his people, a stronghold for the people of Israel.

The Lord will roar like a lion from Jerusalem. His voice will sound like thunder from Zion. The earth and the heavens will tremble. But the Lord will keep the people of Israel safe. He will be a place of safety for them.

耶和華啊，你是我的力量，是我的保障，在患難之日是我的避難所。列國的人必從地極來到你這裏，說：「我們祖先所承受的，不過是虛假，是虛空無益之物。

「所以你要向他們預言這一切的話，對他們說：『耶和華從高天吼叫，從聖所發出聲音，向自己的羊羣大聲吼叫；他要向地上所有的居民吶喊，像踹葡萄的人一樣。必有響聲達到地極，因為耶和華與列國爭辯。凡有血肉之軀的，他必審問；至於惡人，他必交給刀劍。這是耶和華說的。』

因為你是我的避難所，是我的堅固臺，使我脫離仇敵。

耶和華必如勇士出征，如戰士激起憤恨，他要喊叫，大聲吶喊，擊敗他的敵人。

我已將我的話放在你口中，用我的手影遮蔽你，為要安定諸天，立定地基，並對錫安說：「你是我的百姓。」

我在妒忌和如火的烈怒中說：那日在以色列地必有大震動，

耶和華的名是堅固臺，義人奔入就得安穩。

這人必居高處，他的保障是磐石的堡壘，必有糧食賜給他，飲水也不致斷絕。

在那裏，威嚴的耶和華對我們是寬闊的江河，其中必沒有搖槳的小船來往，也沒有巨大的船舶經過。

耶和華如獅子吼叫，他的兒女必跟隨他。他一吼叫，他們就從西方戰兢而來。

耶和華是我的巖石、我的山寨、我的救主、我的神、我的磐石、我所投靠的。他是我的盾牌，是拯救我的角，是我的碉堡。

神是我們的避難所，是我們的力量，是我們在患難中隨時的幫助。所以，地雖改變，山雖搖動到海心，其中的水雖澎湃翻騰，山雖因海漲而戰抖，我們也不害怕。（細拉）有一道河，這河的分汊使神的城歡喜，這城就是至高者居住的聖所。神在其中，城必不動搖；到天一亮，神必幫助這城。萬邦喧嚷，國度動搖；神出聲，地就熔化。萬軍之耶和華與我們同在，雅各的神是我們的避難所！（細拉）你們來看耶和華的作為，看他使地怎樣荒涼。他止息戰爭，直到地極；他折弓、斷槍，把戰車焚燒在火中。你們要休息，要知道我是神！我必在列國中受尊崇，在全地也受尊崇。萬軍之耶和華與我們同在，雅各的神是我們的避難所！

以色列的大能者必不說謊，也不後悔，因為他不是世人，絕不後悔。」

住在至高者隱密處的，必住在全能者的蔭下。我要向耶和華說：「我的避難所、我的山寨、我的神，你是我所倚靠的。」

耶和華必賜力量給他的百姓，耶和華必賜平安的福給他的百姓。

獅子吼叫，誰不懼怕呢？主耶和華既已說了，誰能不說預言呢？

正在那時候，地大震動，城倒塌了十分之一；因地震而死的有七千人，其餘的都恐懼，歸榮耀給天上的神。

又有閃電、響聲、雷轟、大地震，自從地上有人以來沒有這樣大、這樣厲害的地震。

當時他的聲音震動了地，但如今他應許說：「再一次我不單要震動地，還要震動天。」

猶大的族長心裏要說：『耶路撒冷的居民因倚靠萬軍之耶和華－他們的神，就成為我的力量。』「那日，我必使猶大的族長如柴堆中的火盆，又如禾捆裏的火把；他們必左右吞滅四圍列國的百姓。耶路撒冷卻仍屹立在本處，仍在耶路撒冷！「耶和華要先拯救猶大的帳棚，免得大衛家的榮耀和耶路撒冷居民的榮耀勝過猶大。那日，耶和華必保護耶路撒冷的居民。他們中間軟弱的在那日必如大衛；大衛家必如神，如行在他們前面的耶和華的使者。

我要堅固猶大家，拯救約瑟家，我要領他們歸回，因我憐憫他們，他們必像我未曾棄絕他們一樣；都因我是耶和華－他們的神，我必應允他們。

我要使他們倚靠耶和華，得以堅固，他們必奉他的名而行；這是耶和華說的。

我的公義臨近，我的救恩發出。我的膀臂要審判萬民，眾海島都要等候我，倚賴我的膀臂。你們要向天舉目，觀看下面的地；天必像煙雲消散，地必如衣服漸漸破舊；其上的居民也要如此死亡。惟有我的救恩永遠長存，我的公義也不廢掉。

於是，神天上的聖所開了，在他聖所中，他的約櫃出現了；隨後有閃電、響聲、雷轟、地震、大冰雹。
