有一位天使從殿中出來，揚聲向坐在雲上的那位說：「揮動你的鐮刀收割吧！地上的莊稼已經熟透了，可以收割了。」於是，坐在雲上的那位便向大地揮動鐮刀，把地上的莊稼都收割了。另一位天使手裡也拿著鋒利的鐮刀從天上的殿中出來。又有一位掌管烈火的天使從祭壇那裡出來，對手拿鐮刀的天使高喊：「揮動你鋒利的鐮刀，收取地上葡萄樹的果實吧！它們已經熟透了。」於是，那天使揮動鐮刀，收取了地上的葡萄，拋到上帝烈怒的大榨酒池中。葡萄在城外的榨酒池中被踩踏，血從榨酒池中湧出，高至馬的嚼環，流了三百公里遠。

莊稼成熟後，他就拿起鐮刀來收割，因為收成的時候到了。」

「我獨自在榨酒池踩踏，萬民中無人跟我在一起。我在憤怒中踩踏他們，在烈怒中踐踏他們；他們的血濺到我的衣服上，染紅了我的衣服。

猶大啊，你必得到我給你定的下場。

以色列的上帝——萬軍之耶和華說：「巴比倫城快要被毀滅了，它要被夷為平地，好像被踏平的麥場一樣。」

撒毒麥的仇敵就是魔鬼。收割的日子便是世界的末日，收割的工人就是天使。

耶和華說：「所多瑪和蛾摩拉罪惡深重，人們怨聲載道。

「主藐視我所有的勇士，召集軍隊攻擊我，打垮我的青年。主踐踏猶大人，如同在榨酒池踩踏。

「從收割那天開始算起，你們要算出七週的時間。

所多瑪人極其邪惡，在耶和華眼中罪惡滔天。

到了第四代，你的子孫必重回此地，因為亞摩利人現在還沒有惡貫滿盈。」
