患難之後、日晦冥、月無光、星隕自天、天象震動、

隨在地大震、饑疫、天垂可畏大異之象、

我將示奇事於天、異兆於地、若血若火若烟、日變晦冥、月為血色、而主赫顯之日將至矣、

日月星辰、必有異象、地上諸國、困苦顛連、海波漰湱、世所必至者、人人危懼、至於喪膽、天象震動故也、

忽邑中烟焰驟起、其狀如柱、便雅憫族回顧、邑中火焰上騰。

見厥火炎炎、呼曰、誰能與大邑比儗乎、

天下諸王、素與巴比倫行淫、專事華靡、見厥火炎炎、必哭之哀、

越日新婦在室曰、在彼烟焰驟起、其狀若柱、自野而來、氣甚馨香、有若沒藥、有若乳香、有若商賈所市芬芳之品、此果為誰。

埃人遙瞻其邑、烟燄沖天、亟欲逃遁、迷於所往、以色列族之先奔者轉攻其敵。

當是時也、患難之後、日晦冥、月無光、天星隕墜、天象震動、

羔啟六緘、見地大震、日黑如褐、月赤如血、天星隕地、如無花果樹、為風飄撼、未熟之果盡落、穹蒼若軸、舒而復卷、山島遷移、世上諸王大夫將軍富人、有能者、或主或僕、匿於巖穴、籲呼山巖壓己、不令坐位之主見之、及為羔所怒、蓋羔大怒之日至矣、孰能當之、

以色列族與伏兵、以邑中烟焰上騰為約。

望所多馬蛾摩拉、與平原一境、則見烟焰騰上、如出洪爐。
