“ I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten— the great locust and the young locust, the other locusts and the locust swarm— my great army that I sent among you.

The Lord says,“ I sent a great army of locusts to attack you. They included common locusts, giant locusts, young locusts and other locusts. I will make up for the years they ate your crops.

I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter, my great army, which I sent among you.

The Lord says,“ I will give you back what you lost to the swarming locusts, the hopping locusts, the stripping locusts, and the cutting locusts. It was I who sent this great destroying army against you.

I will repay you for the years that the swarming locust ate, the young locust, the destroying locust, and the devouring locust— my great army that I sent against you.

“ Then I will compensate you for the years That the swarming locust has eaten, The creeping locust, the stripping locust, and the gnawing locust— My great army which I sent among you.

“ So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, The crawling locust, The consuming locust, And the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you.

And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the canker- worm, and the caterpillar, and the palmer- worm, my great army which I sent among you.

I will repay you for the years that the swarming locust ate, the young locust, the destroying locust, and the devouring locust— My great army that I sent against you.

And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.

I will make up for the years that the‘ arbeh-locust consumed your crops– the yeleq-locust, the hasil-locust, and the gazam-locust– my great army that I sent against you.

『我必使猶大家堅強起來，我必拯救約瑟家。使他們返回，因為我憐憫他們，他們就像我不曾棄絕的一樣；因為是我永恆主做他們的上帝，我必應他們。

剪蟲剩下的、蝗蟲喫了；蝗蟲剩下的、蝻子喫了；蝻子剩下的、螞蚱喫了。醉漢哪，醒過來，哭吧！一切好喝醉的人哪，哀號哦！為甜酒而哀號！因為酒從你們口中斷絕了。因為有蝗蟲像整國之民上來、襲擊我的地，又強盛、又無數；牠的牙齒如獅子的牙齒，牠簡直有母獅的大牙哦。牠蹧蹋了我的葡萄樹，把我的無花果樹都扯成碎片，剝盡淨光而棄置着；其枝藤都露白了。

一個黑暗墨黑的日子，一個密雲暗霧的日子，像烏黑鋪滿着山嶺的是一團隊蝗蟲、又大又強盛；從來沒有這樣的，以後也不會再有，直到萬代萬年。牠們前面像火燒滅着，牠們過後像火燄燒過；未到以前、地像伊甸園，過去以後、地成了荒涼曠野；唉啊，沒有一樣能逃脫了牠們的。牠們的形狀像馬的形狀；駿馬怎樣跑，牠們也怎樣奔跑。牠們在山頂蹦跳的聲音正如車輛的響聲，正如火燄焚燒碎稭的響聲，正如強盛的軍隊擺好了陣以備爭戰。在牠們面前、眾族人都翻騰難過，大家臉都失色發暗。牠們奔跑如勇士，像戰士爬上城牆；各按自己的路前進，並不偏歪路線。彼此並不擁擠，各按自己道兒前進；直向兵器闖去，並不折斷進路。牠們蹦撞着城，竄上了牆，爬進房屋，像盜賊由窗戶進去。牠們一來，地震動，天搖撼，日月昏暗，星辰收回其光輝。永恆主在他的軍隊前頭發出聲音；他的營兵極大；那執行他命令的是強盛者。永恆主的日子很大；極其可畏懼：誰能擔受得起呢？
