Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.He giveth to the beast his food,[ and] to the young ravens which cry.

These wait all upon thee; that thou mayest give[ them] their meat in due season.[ That] thou givest them they gather: thou openest thine hand, they are filled with good.Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled: thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust.

When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth.

He turneth the wilderness into a standing water, and dry ground into watersprings.And there he maketh the hungry to dwell, that they may prepare a city for habitation;And sow the fields, and plant vineyards, which may yield fruits of increase.He blesseth them also, so that they are multiplied greatly; and suffereth not their cattle to decrease.

I will be as the dew unto Israel: he shall grow as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon.His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive tree, and his smell as Lebanon.They that dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive[ as] the corn, and grow as the vine: the scent thereof[ shall be] as the wine of Lebanon.

[ Then] shall the earth yield her increase;[ and] God,[ even] our own God, shall bless us.

And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit[ them]; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them.And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the LORD thy God.

For the LORD shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.

They give drink to every beast of the field: the wild asses quench their thirst.By them shall the fowls of the heaven have their habitation,[ which] sing among the branches.He watereth the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth;

The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season.Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.

And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing.And the tree of the field shall yield her fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase, and they shall be safe in their land, and shall know that I[ am] the LORD, when I have broken the bands of their yoke, and delivered them out of the hand of those that served themselves of them.

But ye, O mountains of Israel, ye shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people of Israel; for they are at hand to come.

Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.And your threshing shall reach unto the vintage, and the vintage shall reach unto the sowing time: and ye shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely.

And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities[ are become] fenced,[ and] are inhabited.

Thy righteousness[ is] like the great mountains; thy judgments[ are] a great deep: O LORD, thou preservest man and beast.

Then shall he give the rain of thy seed, that thou shalt sow the ground withal; and bread of the increase of the earth, and it shall be fat and plenteous: in that day shall thy cattle feed in large pastures.The oxen likewise and the young asses that ear the ground shall eat clean provender, which hath been winnowed with the shovel and with the fan.

So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that[ there shall] not[ be room] enough[ to receive it].And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.

And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye shall receive no more reproach of famine among the heathen.

And should not I spare Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more than sixscore thousand persons that cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand; and[ also] much cattle?
