Wild animals, don’t be afraid. The desert grasslands are turning green again. The trees are bearing their fruit. The vines and fig trees are producing rich crops.

Fear not, you beasts of the field, for the pastures of the wilderness are green; the tree bears its fruit; the fig tree and vine give their full yield.

他用烏雲遮蓋天空，為大地預備雨水，使群山長出青草。他賜糧食給走獸，也給啼叫的烏鴉幼雛。

所有這些都仰望你按時賜給牠們食物。你賜給它們，牠們就收取；你張開手，它們就飽享美食。你隱藏你的臉，牠們就惶恐；你收回牠們的氣息，牠們就斷氣，歸回塵土。

你耕耘土地，地卻不再給你效力；你在大地上必成為漂泊、流蕩的人。」

他也使曠野成為水池，使乾旱之地成為水源，使飢餓的人居住在那裡，得以建造可安居的城。他們耕種田地，種植葡萄園，得到出產的果實。神祝福他們，他們就大大增多；他也使他們的牲畜沒有減少。

大地有了出產；神，我們的神，要祝福我們。

耶和華必安慰錫安，安慰錫安所有的廢墟，使她的曠野如伊甸，使她的荒漠像耶和華的園子；其中必有歡喜和快樂，必有感謝和歌唱的聲音。

讓田野的一切野獸有水喝；野驢得以解渴。天空的飛鳥在水邊安居，從枝葉中間發出聲音。你從你的樓閣澆灌群山；因你作工的成果，大地就飽足。你使青草為牲畜長出來，又使蔬菜長出來供人需用，好使人能從地裡得食物。

一切的眼目都仰望你，你按時賜給他們食物；你張開手，使一切有生命的都意願滿足。

你的公義如高大的群山，你的公正如巨大的深淵。耶和華啊，人和牲畜，你都救護！

主必賜下雨水給你播在地裡的種子，並要使地裡出肥美豐盛的糧食。到那日，你的牲畜將在寬闊的草場上吃草；耕地的牛和驢將吃調過味的飼料，是用鏟和叉揚淨的。

所以，除了使之生長的神，那栽種的和那澆灌的都算不得什麼。

萬軍之耶和華說：「你們要把當納的十分之一全都帶進庫房，好使我的家中有糧食；藉此試驗我是否會為你們打開天上的窗戶，把祝福傾倒在你們身上，直到你們充足滿溢。」萬軍之耶和華說：「我必為你們斥責吞噬者，使牠不毀掉你們土地的出產，也不使你們田地中的葡萄樹掉落果實。萬國必稱你們有福，因為你們必成為喜悅之地。」這是萬軍之耶和華說的。

更何況尼尼微大城，其中有超過十二萬人不能分辨自己的左右手，還有許多牲畜，我難道不顧惜嗎？」
