一個黑暗墨黑的日子，一個密雲暗霧的日子，像烏黑鋪滿着山嶺的是一團隊蝗蟲、又大又強盛；從來沒有這樣的，以後也不會再有，直到萬代萬年。

是日也、昏暗晦冥、密雲深厚、有一族至、既大且強、勢若晨光布於山上、自古迄今、未有若此者、歷至萬世亦無之、

是日晦冥、幽深玄遠、異族將至、既強且眾、有若黎明、豁然開朗、自古迄今、至於後世、未有若是之甚、

為幽暗晦冥之日、密雲黑雲之日、異族將至、既強且眾、勢若晨光、鋪於山巔、自古以來、未有若是者、斯後及於世世、亦必無有若是者、

a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness. Like dawn spreading across the mountains a large and mighty army comes, such as never was in ancient times nor ever will be in ages to come.

That day will be dark and sad. It will be black and cloudy. A huge army of locusts is coming. They will spread across the mountains like the sun when it rises. There has never been an army like it. And there will never be another for all time to come.

a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and thick darkness! Like blackness there is spread upon the mountains a great and powerful people; their like has never been before, nor will be again after them through the years of all generations.

It is a day of darkness and gloom, a day of thick clouds and deep blackness. Suddenly, like dawn spreading across the mountains, a great and mighty army appears. Nothing like it has been seen before or will ever be seen again.

有一群兇猛的蝗蟲侵犯我的國土，牠們不計其數，有雄獅的獠牙和母獅的利齒。

「我派蝻蟲、蚱蜢、螞蚱和蝗蟲大軍在那些年所吃掉的，我要補償你們。

盼望耶和華的日子到來的人有禍了！你們為什麼盼望耶和華的日子呢？那日將帶來黑暗，而非光明。你們的光景將好像人逃避獅子，卻遇上了熊，逃回家裡，手扶牆壁，又被蛇咬。耶和華的日子將充滿黑暗，毫無光明，一片漆黑，毫無亮光。

「耶和華的大日子近了，近了，很快就到了。那將是痛苦的日子，勇士也必淒聲哀號。那是降烈怒的日子，是困苦艱難的日子，是摧殘毀壞的日子，是黑暗幽冥的日子，是陰霾密佈的日子，

所到之處，天搖地動，日月昏暗，星辰無光。耶和華向祂的軍隊發號施令，祂的隊伍不計其數，執行祂命令的是一支勁旅。耶和華的日子偉大而可畏，誰能承受得住呢？

在山嶺上跳躍奔騰，如隆隆戰車，好像烈火吞噬乾草的聲音，又如大軍擺開陣式準備打仗。

太陽要變得昏暗，月亮要變得血紅。在耶和華偉大而可畏的日子來臨以前，這些事都會發生。

「那時，守護你本國人民的天使長米迦勒必出現。將有一段災難時期，是開國以來從未有過的。那時，你同胞中凡名字記在冊子上的，必得拯救。

他們是海中的狂濤，翻動著自己可恥的泡沫，是流蕩的星星，有幽幽黑暗永遠留給他們。

你的王宮及臣僕和所有埃及人的房屋都要佈滿蝗蟲，這是你祖祖輩輩從未見過的蝗災。』」摩西說完，便轉身離開法老。

他們抬頭望天，低頭看地，看到的盡是患難、痛苦和黑暗。他們必被扔進黑暗中。

你把大災難降在我們身上，應驗了你警告我們和我們官長的話。耶路撒冷遭遇的災禍普天之下從未有過。

他們自以為可以屹立不倒，世世代代永不遭殃。

埃及到處都佈滿了蝗蟲，數目之多實在是空前絕後。

長老們啊，請聽我說！地上的所有居民啊，要留心聽！在你們或你們祖先的時代可曾發生過這樣的事？要把這事告訴你們的子子孫孫，傳到世世代代！

千千萬萬的人聚集在審判谷，因為耶和華的日子要臨到那裡。日月昏暗，星辰無光。

「要回顧往昔，追溯歷史；問你們的父親，他們必回答你們；問你們的長者，他們必告訴你們。

百姓都站得遠遠的，摩西獨自走進上帝所在的密雲中。

看啊，那位造山又造風，向人顯明祂的心意，將黎明變為黑暗，將群山踩在腳下的——祂的名字是萬軍之上帝耶和華。

你們並非來到那座摸得到、有火焰、烏雲、黑暗、狂風、

密雲和黑暗環繞在祂周圍，公義和公平是祂寶座的根基。

那日，他們必向以色列咆哮，如怒海澎湃。人若觀看大地，只見黑暗和艱難，光明被密雲遮蓋。

因為那是上帝創造天地以來空前絕後的大災難。

趁著你們的上帝耶和華還未使黑暗來臨，你們還未在漆黑的山上絆倒，要把榮耀歸給祂。否則，祂必使你們期望的光明變為幽冥和黑暗。
