是日晦冥、幽深玄遠、異族將至、既強且眾、有若黎明、豁然開朗、自古迄今、至於後世、未有若是之甚、

為幽暗晦冥之日、密雲黑雲之日、異族將至、既強且眾、勢若晨光、鋪於山巔、自古以來、未有若是者、斯後及於世世、亦必無有若是者、

a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness. Like dawn spreading across the mountains a large and mighty army comes, such as never was in ancient times nor ever will be in ages to come.

That day will be dark and sad. It will be black and cloudy. A huge army of locusts is coming. They will spread across the mountains like the sun when it rises. There has never been an army like it. And there will never be another for all time to come.

Woe unto you that desire the day of Jehovah! Wherefore would ye have the day of Jehovah? The great day of Jehovah is near, it is near and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of Jehovah; the mighty man crieth there bitterly.That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness,

The earth quaketh before them; the heavens tremble; the sun and the moon are darkened, and the stars withdraw their shining.And Jehovah uttereth his voice before his army; for his camp is very great; for he is strong that executeth his word; for the day of Jehovah is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?

Like the noise of chariots on the tops of the mountains do they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.

The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of Jehovah cometh.

Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! for the day of Jehovah is near in the valley of decision.The sun and the moon are darkened, and the stars withdraw their shining.

Remember the days of old, Consider the years of many generations: Ask thy father, and he will show thee; Thine elders, and they will tell thee.

And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God was.

For, lo, he that formeth the mountains, and createth the wind, and declareth unto man what is his thought; that maketh the morning darkness, and treadeth upon the high places of the Earth— Jehovah, the God of hosts, is his name.

For ye are not come unto a mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, and unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest,

Clouds and darkness are round about him: Righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.

And they shall roar against them in that day like the roaring of the sea: and if one look unto the land, behold, darkness and distress; and the light is darkened in the clouds thereof.

For those days shall be tribulation, such as there hath not been the like from the beginning of the creation which God created until now, and never shall be.

Give glory to Jehovah your God, before he cause darkness, and before your feet stumble upon the dark mountains, and, while ye look for light, he turn it into the shadow of death, and make it gross darkness.
