Gather the people, consecrate the assembly; bring together the elders, gather the children, those nursing at the breast. Let the bridegroom leave his room and the bride her chamber.

Bring them together. Set all of them apart to me. Bring together the elders. Gather the children and the babies who are still nursing. Let the groom leave his bedroom. Let the bride leave their marriage bed.

猶大族眾、與其妻孥、侍立耶和華前。

勿相奪時、惟彼此悅意、暫務禁食祈禱、則可、後仍相聚、恐情不能禁、見誘於撒但、

告之曰、利未人宜聽我言、爾當潔己、列祖上帝耶和華之殿、亦宜潔、去聖所之污衊、

親我之祭司亦當自潔、免我震怒。

曰、我之此來、惟為平康、欲祭耶和華、爾當潔己、偕我食胙。撒母耳使耶西及其子成潔、招之食胙。

耶和華又曰、汝見此民、使今日明日、潔己濯衣、

歲以誕日之先後、肆筵既遍、約百乃召眾子、欲贖其罪、夙興、為之各獻燔祭、自謂吾子不無愆尤、遐棄上帝。約百所為恆若此。○

謂之曰、三日必備、勿御爾妻。○

會中之人、未潔者眾、弗敢宰逾越節羔、利未人代宰、則於耶和華前、可為潔。

當是日、耶路撒冷必有悲哀之聲、遍於四境、與在米吉多谷之哈撻臨門無異、遍境舉哀、各家異室而居、大闢家及其妻異室而居、拿單家及其妻異室而居、利未家及其妻異室而居、示每家及其妻異室而居、所遺之家、及其妻異室而居。

盍起、成聖斯民、使潔己身、以待明晨、將我命傳眾曰、以色列族與、有獻我之物、藏於爾間、未出斯物、爾不能禦敵。

若新娶者、出於房兮、若勇士之喜馳逐兮、

使人禁食、必守大會、集長老居民、入爾上帝耶和華之殿、呼籲耶和華、

王與諸侯出諭、遍尼尼微邑曰、人與六畜牛羊、俱勿食糧、飲水、俱必衣麻、懇籲上帝、眾當去惡、勿虐人民、

耶穌曰、新娶者在、賀娶者豈有哀慟乎、惟將來新娶者別之去、時乃禁食耳、

今日爾與族中最著者、長老族長、暨以色列眾、爰及妻孥、營中之賓旅、自採樵者及汲水者、俱立於爾上帝耶和華前。

宰逾越節羔、自潔其身、使爾同宗咸潔、遵耶和華所諭摩西之命。

牡山羊為贖罪之祭、人牽之至、王與會眾按手其上。祭司宰羊、獻血為以色列族贖罪、若燔祭贖罪祭、乃王命為以色列族眾而獻者。
