Gather the people, consecrate the assembly; bring together the elders, gather the children, those nursing at the breast. Let the bridegroom leave his room and the bride her chamber.

犹大众人和他们的孩童、妻子、儿女都站在耶和华面前。

耶和华对摩西说：“你往百姓那里去，使他们今天明天分别为圣，又叫他们洗衣服。

宴席的日子过了，约伯派人去叫他们自洁。他清早起来，按着他们众人的数目献燔祭，因为他说：“恐怕我的儿子犯了罪，心中背弃神。”约伯常常这样行。

他对百姓说：“第三天要预备好；不可亲近女人。”

会众中有许多人尚未分别为圣，所以利未人为所有不洁的人宰逾越节的羔羊，使他们归耶和华为圣。

那日，在耶路撒冷必有大大的哀号，如米吉多平原上哈达‧临门的哀号。这地必哀哭：一家一家地哭，大卫家的家族聚在一处，他们的妇女聚在一处；拿单家的家族聚在一处，他们的妇女聚在一处。利未家的家族聚在一处，他们的妇女聚在一处；示每家的家族聚在一处，他们的妇女聚在一处。其余的各家，每一家的家族聚在一处，他们的妇女聚在一处。”

你起来，去叫百姓分别为圣，说：‘你们要为了明天使自己分别为圣，因为耶和华—以色列的神这样说：以色列啊，在你中间有当灭的物；你们若不把你们中间当灭之物除掉，你在仇敌面前必站立不住！’

太阳如同新郎步出洞房，又如勇士欢然奔路。

你们要使禁食的日子分别为圣，宣告严肃会，召集长老和这地所有的居民来到耶和华—你们神的殿，向耶和华哀求。

他叫人通告尼尼微全城，说：“王和大臣有令，人、畜、牛、羊都不可尝任何东西，不可吃，也不可喝水。人与牲畜都要披上麻布，切切求告神。各人要回转离开恶道，离弃自己掌中的残暴。

耶稣对他们说：“新郎和宾客在一起的时候，宾客怎么能哀恸呢？但日子将到，新郎要被带走，那时候他们就要禁食了。

“今日你们全都要站在耶和华—你们的神面前，就是各领袖、族长、长老、官长、以色列所有的男子、你们的妻子儿女、你营中寄居的，从为你砍柴到为你挑水的人，

要宰逾越节的羔羊，将自己分别为圣，为你们的弟兄预备，好遵守耶和华藉摩西所吩咐的话。”

那凡专心寻求神耶和华—他列祖的神，却未照圣所洁净礼自洁的人。”

他们把那些作赎罪祭的公山羊牵到王和会众面前，按手在公山羊上。祭司宰了羊，将血献在坛上作赎罪祭，为全以色列赎罪，因为王吩咐要为全以色列献上燔祭和赎罪祭。
