Gather the people, consecrate the assembly; bring together the elders, gather the children, those nursing at the breast. Let the bridegroom leave his room and the bride her chamber.

會中人多未自潔、故利未人為不潔者宰逾越節羔、俾為潔於耶和華前、

是日耶路撒冷大有悲哀、如在米吉多平原哈達臨門之悲哀、斯土各家、必有悲哀、大衛家男女異室而居、拿單家男女異室而居、利未家男女異室而居、示每家男女異室而居、其餘之家、男女異室而居、

起、使民自潔、諭之曰、自潔以備明日、蓋以色列之上帝耶和華云、以色列歟、爾中匿有當滅之物、非先除之、不能禦敵、

上帝為日設幕其間、若新娶者出於其房、勇士喜馳逐兮、

當定禁食之日、宣告肅會、召集長老、及居斯土之眾、入爾上帝耶和華室、呼籲耶和華、

乃與諸伯出諭、布告尼尼微曰、或人或畜、牛羣羊羣、俱勿嘗食、勿食勿飲、人畜俱披麻、眾皆切求上帝、各轉離其惡途、去其手之強暴、

耶穌曰、新娶者偕在、賀娶者豈能哀慟乎、惟日將至、新娶者見接而去、乃禁食耳、

今爾有眾、牧伯、族長、長老、有司、以色列諸丁男、爾之子女妻室、營中賓旅、自採薪者、及汲水者、俱立於爾上帝耶和華前、

宰逾越節羔、自潔、為爾昆弟備之、遵耶和華藉摩西所諭之言、

凡人決心尋求其列祖之上帝耶和華、雖未依聖所之潔禮自潔、願善良之耶和華宥之、

遂牽為贖罪祭之牡山羊、至王與會眾前、咸按手其上、祭司宰之、以血為贖罪祭獻於壇、為以色列眾贖罪、蓋王有命、為以色列眾獻燔祭與贖罪祭、
