Even now— this is the LORD’s declaration— turn to me with all your heart, with fasting, weeping, and mourning.

耶和华说：“现在虽然如此，你们仍要全心全意，以禁食、哭泣、哀号，归向我。”

耶和華說：雖然如此，你們應當禁食、哭泣、悲哀，一心歸向我。

然而你們現在要禁食，哭泣，哀號，一心歸向我。這是耶和華說的。

耶和華說：「現在，你們要禁食、哭泣、哀號，全心回轉歸向我。」

耶和華說：“現在雖然如此，你們仍要全心全意，以禁食、哭泣、哀號，歸向我。”

永恆主發神諭說：『如今雖如此，你們還要全心全意來歸向我，以禁食哀哭及號咷來返回。

耶和華曰、爾其專心歸我、禁食、哭泣、悲哀、

耶和華曰、爾當一心歸誠乎我、禁食、號哭、悲哀、

主曰、今爾當一心歸誠於我、禁食號哭悲哀、

“ Even now,” declares the Lord,“ return to me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning.”

The Lord announces to his people,“ Return to me with all your heart. There is still time. Do not eat any food. Weep and mourn.”

“ Yet even now,” declares the Lord,“ return to me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning;

That is why the Lord says,“ Turn to me now, while there is time. Give me your hearts. Come with fasting, weeping, and mourning.

“ Yet even now,” declares the Lord,“ Return to Me with all your heart, And with fasting, weeping, and mourning;

“ Now, therefore,” says the Lord,“ Turn to Me with all your heart, With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.”

Yet even now, saith Jehovah, turn ye unto me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:

Even now— this is the Lord’s declaration— turn to Me with all your heart, with fasting, weeping, and mourning.

Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye[ even] to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:

“ Yet even now,” the LORD says,“ return to me with all your heart– with fasting, weeping, and mourning. Tear your hearts, not just your garments!”

“ Yet even now,” says Yahweh,“ turn to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning.”

But you must return to your God. Maintain love and justice, and always put your hope in God.

Seek the LORD while he may be found; call to him while he is near.Let the wicked one abandon his way and the sinful one his thoughts; let him return to the LORD, so he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will freely forgive.

Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.Be miserable and mourn and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom.

If you return, Israel— this is the LORD’s declaration— you will return to me, if you remove your abhorrent idols from my presence and do not waver,

If I shut the sky so there is no rain, or if I command the grasshopper to consume the land, or if I send pestilence on my people,and my people, who bear my name, humble themselves, pray and seek my face, and turn from their evil ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.

But from there, you will search for the LORD your God, and you will find him when you seek him with all your heart and all your soul.When you are in distress and all these things have happened to you, in the future you will return to the LORD your God and obey him.

You will call to me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.You will seek me and find me when you search for me with all your heart.

Then the people of Nineveh believed God. They proclaimed a fast and dressed in sackcloth— from the greatest of them to the least.When word reached the king of Nineveh, he got up from his throne, took off his royal robe, covered himself with sackcloth, and sat in ashes.Then he issued a decree in Nineveh: By order of the king and his nobles: No person or animal, herd or flock, is to taste anything at all. They must not eat or drink water.Furthermore, both people and animals must be covered with sackcloth, and everyone must call out earnestly to God. Each must turn from his evil ways and from his wrongdoing.

So tell the people,‘ This is what the LORD of Armies says: Return to me— this is the declaration of the LORD of Armies— and I will return to you, says the LORD of Armies.Do not be like your ancestors; the earlier prophets proclaimed to them: This is what the LORD of Armies says: Turn from your evil ways and your evil deeds. But they did not listen or pay attention to me— this is the LORD’s declaration.

When they gathered at Mizpah, they drew water and poured it out in the LORD’s presence. They fasted that day, and there they confessed,“ We have sinned against the LORD.” And Samuel judged the Israelites at Mizpah.

Come, let’s return to the LORD. For he has torn us, and he will heal us; he has wounded us, and he will bind up our wounds.

Instead, I preached to those in Damascus first, and to those in Jerusalem and in all the region of Judea, and to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works worthy of repentance.

Let’s examine and probe our ways, and turn back to the LORD.Let’s lift up our hearts and our hands to God in heaven:

Samuel told them,“ If you are returning to the LORD with all your heart, get rid of the foreign gods and the Ashtoreths that are among you, set your hearts on the LORD, and worship only him. Then he will rescue you from the Philistines.”

by asking the priests who were at the house of the LORD of Armies as well as the prophets,“ Should we mourn and fast in the fifth month as we have done these many years?”

Jehoshaphat was afraid, and he resolved to seek the LORD. Then he proclaimed a fast for all Judah,who gathered to seek the LORD. They even came from all the cities of Judah to seek him.

On the twenty-fourth day of this month the Israelites assembled; they were fasting, wearing sackcloth, and had put dust on their heads.Those of Israelite descent separated themselves from all foreigners, and they stood and confessed their sins and the iniquities of their ancestors.

The whole Israelite army went to Bethel where they wept and sat before the LORD. They fasted that day until evening and offered burnt offerings and fellowship offerings to the LORD.

On that day the Lord GOD of Armies called for weeping, for wailing, for shaven heads, and for the wearing of sackcloth.

Israel, return to the LORD your God, for you have stumbled in your iniquity.

and when they come to their senses in the land where they were deported and repent and petition you in their captors’ land:“ We have sinned and done wrong; we have been wicked,”and when they return to you with all their heart and all their soul in the land of their enemies who took them captive, and when they pray to you in the direction of their land that you gave their ancestors, the city you have chosen, and the temple I have built for your name,may you hear in heaven, your dwelling place, their prayer and petition and uphold their cause.

and when they return to you with all their mind and all their heart in the land of their captivity where they were taken captive, and when they pray in the direction of their land that you gave their ancestors, and the city you have chosen, and toward the temple I have built for your name,may you hear their prayer and petitions in heaven, your dwelling place, and uphold their cause. May you forgive your people who sinned against you.

“ Ask all the people of the land and the priests: When you fasted and lamented in the fifth and in the seventh months for these seventy years, did you really fast for me?

“ Then I will pour out a spirit of grace and prayer on the house of David and the residents of Jerusalem, and they will look at me whom they pierced. They will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child and weep bitterly for him as one weeps for a firstborn.On that day the mourning in Jerusalem will be as great as the mourning of Hadad-rimmon in the plain of Megiddo.The land will mourn, every family by itself: the family of David’s house by itself and their women by themselves; the family of Nathan’s house by itself and their women by themselves;the family of Levi’s house by itself and their women by themselves; the family of Shimei by itself and their women by themselves;all the remaining families, every family by itself, and their women by themselves.
