A nation has invaded my land, a mighty army without number; it has the teeth of a lion, the fangs of a lioness.

The locusts are like a mighty army that has marched into our land. There are so many of them they can’t even be counted. Their teeth are as sharp as a lion’s teeth. They are like the fangs of a female lion.

For a nation has come up against my land, powerful and beyond number; its teeth are lions’ teeth, and it has the fangs of a lioness.

A vast army of locusts has invaded my land, a terrible army too numerous to count. Its teeth are like lions’ teeth, its fangs like those of a lioness.

使肥沃之地变为荒芜的盐地，都因当地居民的邪恶。

那是黑暗、阴森的日子，是密云、乌黑的日子，如同黎明笼罩山岭。有一队蝗虫，又大又强，自古以来没有像这样的，以后直到万代也必没有。它们前面有火吞噬，后面有火焰烧尽。它们未到以前，地如伊甸园，过去以后，却成了荒凉的旷野，没有一样能躲避它们。它们形状如马，奔跑如战马。响声如战车在山顶上跳动，如火焰吞噬碎秸，好像强大的军队摆阵备战。在它们面前，万民伤恸，脸都变色。它们如勇士奔跑，如战士攀登城墙，各行于自己的道路，不乱队伍；它们并不彼此推挤，各行于自己的大道，冲过防御，并不停止。它们蹦上城，跳上墙，爬上房屋，从窗户进来，如同盗贼。在它们面前，地动天摇，日月昏暗，星宿无光。耶和华在他的军旅前出声，他的队伍庞大，遵行他命令的强盛。耶和华的日子大而可畏，谁能当得起呢？

蝗虫的形状好像预备上阵的战马一样，头上戴的好像金冠冕，脸面好像男人的脸面，头发像女人的头发，牙齿像狮子的牙齿；它们胸前有甲，好像铁甲；又有翅膀的响声，好像许多车马奔跑上阵的声音。它们有尾巴像蝎子，长着毒刺，尾巴上的毒刺有能力伤害人五个月。

必冲入犹大，涨溢泛滥，直到颈项。他展开翅膀，遮蔽你的全地。以马内利啊！”

刺草和荆棘要长在我百姓的田地上，长在欢乐城中一切快乐家园上。

有一类人，牙如剑，齿如刀，要吞灭地上的困苦人和世间的贫穷人。

蚂蚁是无力之类，却在夏天预备粮食。石獾并非强壮之类，却在岩石中造房子。蝗虫没有君王，却分队而出。

他们必不得住耶和华的地；以法莲却要返回埃及，在亚述吃不洁净的食物。
